Devin's P.O.V.
I was kinda listening on in. As the bed creeked from her sitting up I ran downstairs.

I sat on the couch 'talking' to Kevin.

I heard the door open and looked to see Vanelle and Daniel behind her.

|SING TO HER| Daniel mouthed to me.
She walked down the stairs kinda hurt. I got up and waited for her at the bottom of the stairs.

Once she got there I opened my arms for a hug but she put them down.

'Was what Daniel said true?' She asked right off the bat.
'Yes. Everything. Hopefully.' I said.

I looked over her shoulder and Daniel mouthed again |DO IT|

'Stop' she said. But I knew she wanted me to keep going. 'Devin. You are a straight player. We are friends. We WERE friends. And I didn't want anything to ruin it.  But I accepted you into my life anyways. You have done so much for me, and I thank you for that. But you clearly felt something for Aniya. And you probably still do. You can't have the both of us. It's me or her.'

I kinda was speechless. I stood up and looked into her eyes.

'Its a lot to take in right now. As you sang, YOU did me wrong.' She continued

'And as I also sang, let's work it out.' I said.

Vanelle's P.O.V.
I remember the poem.

'Baby. We were all one world. Then it was all split up. Its alot for me to think about.' I said. 'If I take you back, will you be committed?'

He just stared into my eyes.
