Myungsoo's POV
White. White light, white ceiling. I sighed in relief.
"Aish, I hate hospitals."
Why am I here again? That's when I felt the pain in my head.
Right. I was... Oh maja~ I remember. I remember everything... everything.
Deirdre, Shae, the car, everything.. Should I tell Ray hyung that I remember everything now? But wait... I SHOULD BE ANGRY. He didn't tell me the truth.
How should I react to this? Shae.. What day is it? I didn't... Wait. My mind's mixed up. I can't think straight, but I think I remember everything.
*Flashback
As I was reading the text on my phone, I heard a car engine. Lumingon ako. And I saw the car.
Yung kotse, papalapit sa kinaroroonan ko. The one who was driving was familiar.
He looked like.. Kris.
Papabilis ng papabilis yung pagpapatakbo niya until the car.. hit me and my motorcycle. I felt a pang of pain at hindi ko na madistinguish kung saan banda ang masakit. I fell, with my motorcycle, down the cliff, all I could ever think of was Shae and Deirdre, how much I love them and want to be with them, and how and why did this happen.
Then everything went black.
Maduga, mandaraya, he didn't play fair, yun nga siguro. I don't know why, but I'm not feeling even a tiny bit of anger towards him. Siguro kasi, naiintindihan ko siya. Mahal niya lang siguro talaga sila Lei. Kaya nagawa niya yun. Siguro nga.
"Gaano na siya katagal dito?"
Biglang may nagsalita, medyo faint lang yung boses, pero.. parang kaboses niya si Lei.
"Ilang oras lang, kaninang tanghali ata kami nagpunta dito. Nawalan kasi siya ng malay pagkatapos niyang..." Si Ray hyung. "....makaalala."
I was looking straight at Ray hyung's eyes. Finding answers. But he just looked down. "He's awake now." Sumunod pumasok si Lei, na buhat buhat si Shae. She still looks beautiful. Kahit medyo mugto mga mata niya.
"Myungsoo..." Oh, how I love the sound of her voice calling my name. I missed it, I missed her, I missed Shae. It's been like.. I don't know a year or so? But she's still the same. I still feel the same about her. Maybe that's why I couldn't leave even when I couldn't remember.
"Lei.." That's when her tears started falling, magkakasunod. I wanted to jump out of the hospital bed, hug her tight and wipe her tears away, but I couldn't. Oh right, I can't walk anymore. I can't move my right leg anymore. My right leg's paralyzed because of the accident.
She slowly walked towards me. I wanted to hug them but I was afraid Shae would wake up. She sat on my hospital bed.
"I.. I'm sorry Lei.. Please, stop crying. Don't cry."
"Then how am I supposed to react with this? With what happened? You've been gone for a year. Without any trace. And you expect me to laugh?"
"No, I just don't like seeing you cry." I wiped her tears. "I'm sorry I couldn't remember sooner." Then I looked at Ray hyung who was listening to our convo.
"Before we could talk about everything, I should know every little detail right Ray hyung? Care to tell me what happened? Why didn't you tell me anything?"
"I.. Myungsoo.. We were in a tough situation. Especially you. Ayoko mapamahamak ka dahil kay Raena."
"Wait, you're talking about.. my mom? Raena? What did she.."
