Jane awoke to a deliciously smelling house. It smelled like bacon and eggs. She got up and walked to the kitchen. There, she found Hannah cooking and attempting to make pancakes. It was hysterical to watch her to try and understand the recipe. Jane couldn't help but laugh. Hannah looked up and saw Jane and smiled. "I made you breakfast!" Hannah said and then giggled as she looked down at the attempted pancake mix. "I tried to make pancakes too but this damn recipe is so confusing!" Jane smiled again and said, "well thank you sweetie I appreciate it." Hannah beamed as her and Jane went to sit down to eat their breakfast. Before she sat down Jane realized that it was quiet and asked, "Umm, where is casey?" After she said it Casey Came over behind her grabbed her waist pulled her close and said, "right here babe" Casey sat down at the table and started to talk again. "You never came to bed last night." He sounded slightly angry and Jane became very uneasy. Hannah sensed it and spoke up. "We got caught up chatting about whatever we gab about and fell asleep on the couches. "Oh" was all that came out of Casey's mouth. It was silent for the next few minutes when Hannah spoke up. "So Casey I hear you are in the army." "Yeah I'm pretty excited because I'm in line to become a general." "That's awesome!" Hannah kept trying to lighten the mood. "I used to want to join the navy but I decided that I wanted to become a hair dresser." Hannah then ran her hands through her gorgeous long locks of Brown wavy hair. Jane grinned. She appreciated Hannah's efforts. Jane then said "Well I hate to say this but me and Hannah have to go to the station." She continued, "Hannah's friend was strangled and it's become a really tough case. I just want it to be over." Hannah started to look upset and Casey then looked up smiled and said, "I'm sorry for your loss." "Thanks" Hannah replied in a sweet little voice. They got up and Jane went to go take a shower and Casey went for a run. Hannah brushed her hair and put it in a ponytail. She also found some of Jane's makeup which Jane rarely used. She put on a light pink lip stick and some mascara which made her hazel eyes look even prettier than they already are. As soon as they were ready they got in the car and started to drive to the office.
