"the faster I get there, the faster i'll get done."

Justin's POV

"Justin come on man. You can see her when you get back. You've got to come now. We have Billboards in a week." Scooter sighs, running a hand through his short hair impatiently.

"I know, I know Scooter. I know. Geesh. Give me a minute." I snap, baring my teeth at him slightly as I look up at him from where I lay beside my mate.

"Look, I know it's probably tough for you, but she'll be alright. It's only a week." Scooter reminds me, holding his hands up to show he meant no threat. My vampire side wasn't very controllable at the moment. At least not with my mate in my arms. I would be fiercely protective of her because I didn't want to lose her. She was mine. End of story.

"Yeah well a week without your mate, that's not fun. You don't understand, I need her. And I've waiting forever to find her. Why do you think I took her?" I snap again, running a light hand along her face from where she sleeps peacefully next to me and breathing in her comforting scent I had already grown accustom to. And yeah I said took, as in kidnapped her. But you don't understand, she was my mate. I HAD to have her. When you found your mate it was like everything else ceased being important. It was suddenly all about her, my life revolved around her and her happiness now. She was the one that kept me sane and in control and connected me to the world. She was my center and my life. I loved her with everything in my being. And I would always protect her and love her. She would always be mine. So being without her wasn't an option. But it wouldn't matter if I kidnapped her or not, because as soon as I was back I would explain everything to her and make her happy and she would love me. Regardless though, I really didn't want to leave her. Not like this, she hadn't even woken up yet. So I couldn't even talk to her or look into her eyes. It was a stroke of luck I had found her. And I wasn't letting go of her anytime soon. She was mine now. I had been moppy all tour and well, frankly I was kind of losing it. The pressure and stress was getting to me. But now with her, everything would be alright. She would level me out.

Don't get me wrong, I really loved being on tour, the fans, the energy, the life, the fame. Everything, but I was tired and exhausted from the constant traveling, stress and pressure. Paparazzi gave me the worst time ever when I was in Europe. You would think they would give me a break, but no, they didn't. I did one thing wrong or mis-step and it was blown all over the front pages of the news the next day. But yet when I visited children hospitals or did something good, no one even mentioned it. And don't even get me started with the break up with Selena Gomez. It was messy to say the least, and while I was trying to keep quiet and be a good ex and not ruin her reputation she was out in the world talking trash about me and talking about how she made me cry. But I'm over it now, I had Kiera, besides, it wasn't like Selena was my mate. I thought she was once upon a time, but not now. Kiera was all I needed now. She completed me. Yeah, mate as in vampire. I'm a vampire, a prince to be exact, if you didn't catch on already. My dad Jeremy is the king of the vampire world, but obviously we keep that under wraps.

"Okay, I know, I'm sorry. Just come on, please. You'll see her in a week, she'll be perfectly safe and content here at yourhouse. And then you can have your break with her. Just you need to do this one last thing." Scooter pleads.

"Fine." I grumble, lifting my body off the bed and standing up.

"Good bye love. You're mine. I'll be back soon." I mumble to her, pressing a loving and light kiss to her face before striding out of the room with Scooter.

"Justin do you need blood or something?" Scooter mutters to me, breaking me through my thoughts.

"Nah, I'm good. I fed off of one of the slaves." I say shaking my head. And before you say anything, don't. Scooter and the crew knew about the girls, in fact, Scooter was the one who usually found them. We did it at every stop or whenever I needed blood. Pick up a girl, say a few sweet things and charm her and then bite her and get my fill. After words compel her to forget and it was like nothing happened. Or in this case, I was home, so we had human slaves that usually sufficed. They were kept permanently with me or at my dad's house/ palace in Canada; they were nothing except blood donors pretty much. They lived off of a vampire's bite, and honestly were pretty desperate. They would do anything and all but throw themselves at me. It was annoying.

"Make sure you attend to her every need when she's awake. I expect nothing less than perfection for her. And don't let her leave." I command to one of the servants.

"Yes master." The girl says bowing slightly as I walk by.

"Good, make sure of it. I won't be happy when I come back if I find that she was unhappy or not taken care of to my standards." I warn, staring her down. Seeing her bow her head respectfully, she just nods again. Huffing again I walk out to the Escalade with Scooter.

"Alright let's get this going. The faster I get there the fast I'll be done and I can come home to my mate." I say as we drive away. One week, I could do this. One more week and I'd be back at home in L.A with my mate being able to cuddle and hold her and love her.
