WHAT IS SIN?
The great barrier between God and man is Sin. sin is the reason why Christ came into the world. "Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29). Sin is rebellion against God- disobedience to His will.
"All wrongdoing is sin" (1 John 5:17). Sins are the product of sinful nature. There are sins of thought, word and deed.
A vital step in knowing Christ in a personal way is to realize the existence of sin in your life. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
