weekend with josh

Maya's POV
I woke up to see Josh was gone I sighed I had just lost my virginity to some sicko I looked down to see that I had some shorts and a t-shirt on so Josh saw me naked great

I walked into the kitchen to see my mom and Josh sitting at the table together with Shawn drinking coffee "good morning maya" my mother said "hey mom" I said I looked at Josh he gave me a small smile

"Maya want to tell me what happen last night" my father asked me known as Shawn hunter "um I um" "how the hell to you hit your head on an elevator door" I sighed and looked at Josh "well I ugh tripped and banged into it" I said "your lucky Josh found you and took you home when he did he wrapped your head with ice and all " Shawn said giving Josh a small Pat on the back

"So Maya as a thank-you to Josh me and your mom are taking you to California for the week " he said I gasped and opened my mouth to scream "go ahead " my mother said "yayyyyyyyyyy" my parents and Josh laughed I ran to my room and got packed I head my phone off to see texts and misses calls from riley,Lucas , farkel and Mr Matthews

I opened Riley's first
R:Maya The boys told me what they said there sorry
R:Maya
R:are you ok I heard what happen how's your head
M:it's fine riles

Then farkels
F:I'm sorry maya
F:I'm just looking out for you
M:it's fine farkel

Then Lucas
L:you ok
M:yea

Then Mr.Matthews
M.M: Maya Penelope hart where are you

I smile and put my phone down I looked up to see Josh smiling at me I smiled back he sat down next to me "Why didn't you tell anyone " I asked him "I wanted that to be your choice I should've but I didn't " I smiled at him "Kidsssss"

We laughed at each other I got on his back and he grabbed my bag we ran into the kitchen my parents laughed at us we walked to the car I smiled as I tightened my legs around Josh he held me up "come on uncle boing"

1week later
Josh chased me down the beach I laughed as he grabbed my waist and pulled me back to him I hit his chest he laid his hand on my waist I held my breath I put my head back I felt him freeze as I did so I giggled and pulled away from him and started running "Maya" I heard him scream

I laughed and kept running I saw a girl in front with me with a sandcastle so I jumped but I guess Josh didn't see it because I heard an oof and tears I turned around to see Josh laying on the girls sandcastle I sniffled a laugh

I ran over to them and sat next to the girl "No please don't cry we'll help you" I said she sniffled and nodded "Josh help me" I snapped he got off the castle and started helping me .

1 hour and 30 minutes later
Josh and I sat with lisa the little girl who's sandcastle Josh demolished we were eating ice cream Josh had ice cream all over his face I giggled he looked up at me "what" I giggled again at his sillyness "you have ice cream all over your face josh" he looked down at his chin and then back at me he smirked them said "why don't you get it off of me yourself" he winked my eyes widened and I covered Lisa's hears "JOSH" I squeaked

(If you don't know what I meant its where she licks it all off and has to kiss him"

He laughed "do you have anymore dirty thoughts Mr.Matthews" he laughed again and shook his head I nodded and took my hands off Lisa's ears
She looked at me and then Josh "I like you guys you're way nicer then my brother and his girlfriend" she said pointing at a boy my age and some girl kissing against a car she gags and looks back at us "hey maybe he's just dealing with stuff give him time he'll come around" I tell her putting my arm on her shoulder she nods And smiles at me

Me , Josh , and Lisa walked back to the sandcastle "well lisa we got to go i'll see around ok" I tell her she nods and gives me a hug "thankyou" she whispers I smile I start to walk away "wait" I turn around "can I talk to Josh alone" she asks I look at Josh and he nods I walk away and down the shoreline I wonder what she wanted to talk about with him

I starred at the sunset I wonder what Christian was doing I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist "hey" I whispered "hey" Josh whispered back "so how'd it go with Lisa" I asked leaning back like I did earlier he was more relaxed this time he picked me up so I squealed he laughed and continued to carry me

I gave trying to struggle and just let him carry me we got back to the hotel we got into the elevator my eyes were closed but I could feel where we were

Josh and I walked into the room "is she asleep" I heard my mom ask "yea she fell asleep a little while ago " Josh set me down on the bed "where are you going to sleep Josh " I heard my father ask "I guess the couch" "no go ahead and lay down with Maya I'm sure she won't mind" my mom said I was mentally SCREAMING no but they couldn't here me the room darkened I felt the bed dippin the covers were tossed over me I felt lips touch my forehead "goodnight little ferret" I smiled as I snuggled into the blankets

I opened my eyes slowly quickly shutting them due to light in my face I pulled the covers over my head I heard a husky laugh I gulped and turned around which was a bad mistake because hwne I did Josh and all his ego were right next to me "hello gorgeous" he said I gulped and smiled "hey Matthews " I looked under the blanket to see his hart was wrapped around me and mine around his bare chest which in my oppion was sexy as hell

I looked up and pulled away I jumped out of the bed "Maya whats wrong " he asked me "I'm with Christian " I said "who" h asked confused "Christan the one I went on a date with " he eyes widened "the one who left you alone outside " he growled stepping towards from me I backed up my back hit the wall "he didn't leave he walked me inside I ran out because of farkel and Lucas"

I snapped he gripped his fingers on my arms "ow Josh your hurting me " I whimpered his eyes softened and he backed off "Maya I , I'm so sorry I, I gotta go" he rushed off and out the door when Shawn and my mom walked in he barged passed them "what happen with you and josh" they asked me "Nothing" I whispered "absolutely nothing"

For the rest of the day Josh and I avoided eachother

We were driving back I had my head against the car when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach I groaned "Maya honey are you" my mother asked me Josh looked at me with wide eyes I gulped "yea" my mom nodded

I pulled my phone out and texted Josh
M:what
J:you know what
M:it can't be
J:it can maya
M:no no no Josh what am I gonna do
J:why don't you go ask your boyfriend

I glared at Josh who gave me a smug look

M:look I'm sorry you had your chance you always told me for the longest time your to old for me and now I'm done waiting for you

J:maybe I left you because I was in love with you or am in love with you and I wanted you to live your life without me

I looked up at him he was starring out the window a tear slipped down my cheek I put my hoodie on and started to cry I slipped my headphones in and listened to green day all the way back to New York
