Preference #21- Your Child Has A Disorder.
Harry:
"Come'on... Please, just try for me." Harry said. He did whatever he could to make your daughter read. Scarlet had Dyslexia and had the worst time reading, but the thing was... She was in love with books. "That's a w right? For weapon?" She asked. Her fingers skimmed the words that were printed along the pages. "Good job, Scar." Harry smiled. You hid around the corner of the room. Harry and Scar were hunched over her book. Harry looked at Scar and smiled. You chuckled at the sight of them two. "Yeah, books are the best weapon there is. They're an escape from reality, and anything can happen." Scar said... "You're doing amazing, Scar... Keep on going." Harry said. He smiled and pointed to the next sentence. "If you don't like books, instead, you should go to the library with me this afternoon. Autumn said." Scar said. She smiled at her progress of reading. She spent so long trying to read with her Dyslexia. She hated it, and it made her go into a special remedation class. She felt so stupid not being able to read, but she was one of the smartest girls you've ever met. She learned so quickly, and she was fast at calculating things. But she had such small self pride. You and Harry did everything you could to help her read, and she was getting better. "I'm so proud of you, Scar. I'm glad that you haven't given it up." Harry smiled. "Do you think that I'll still be able to write books?" Scar asked. "I think that you'll be able to do anything." Harry smiled.
Louis:
Your son, Rowan has had Selective Mutism ever since he was born. He won't walk when you're out. He can only talk to Louis and you. Rowan has always had trouble talking to you from the start, but Louis is his best friend. He only talks at home. "Daddy." Rowan said. "Yeah, bud?" Louis asked. They sat on the couch watching Rowans favorite movie, Superman. "Why can't I talk around other people? I can't even talk to my brothers and sisters." Rowan asked. For a kid who couldn't talk much, he had a very skilled vocabulary. "I don't know why. But I love how you can talk to me." Louis said. He brought Rowan into a small side hug. "If I don't talk, then why do I still go to school?" Rowan asked. "A long time ago, you said that just because you don't talk, you wouldn't let it change you... So we took you to school." Louis said quietly. Your daughter, Leah came running in to the room, and Rowan hid into Louis's arm. He was so quiet while Leah talked to Louis. Rowan was overly shy, but you were waiting for the day where he finds the girl that he can talk to.
Liam:
"No!" Your son threw a toy at your chest, while he was screaming. "James, please calm down." Liam said. He put James into his lap and rocked him back and forth. James had such a hard time understanding and learning like other kids. He had something called Aspergers. "It makes it hard for him to talk, and to learn. He basically has a set back in his learning, but when he grows older, he'll be incrediably smart. "James, don't throw toys. Is that a bad choice?" You ask. You hold his hand, and James just looks at you. "Yes, mommy." James hides in Liams arms, and Liam just chuckles. "Be careful next time, James." Liam moves James within his arms, and he tickles James. James laughs and snorts out loud. You had good times with James, and he was such a good kid with Liam. Liam was the best with him, and no matter how troubling James was, you still loved James the same. You would never love him any less because he has a disorder.
Zayn:
"M-mo-om." Ben said. Ben was 14 years old with a stuttering disorder. "Yes baby?" You asked. You and Zayn were in the kitchen talking over tea. You haven't had much time to yourselves in a while because you've been so busy. "W-he-en..." Ben started. "Sing it for me, Ben." You said. Zayn looked at Ben and smiled. "When is my concert?" He singed. It was so weird. Ben couldn't talk, because he had the hardest time talking, but he sang perfectly. His stutter didn't show in his voice when he sang. That was how you three communicated together. You all three sang together. It was what made Ben happy. "In three weeks." Zayn said. Ben smiled and walked off leaving you two alone again. "It's crazy. After all this time, his voice has only gotten better." You sipped on your tea and smiled. "It's a miracle that he can sing. A miracle how his stutter doesn't keep him from singing." Zayn said. He loved that about his son. Ben was chasing his dream of being a singer like his dad, and he was making it. He wasn't going to let some silly disorder get in the way of his dream.
Niall:
You knew that Rae was different when you first held her, but you just didn't know what made her different. Rae, you, Niall, and her best friend were going dress shopping for Rae. Rae has finally found the one for her that accepts her for who she is. Rae took a while in the dressing room getting ready, and you and Niall wondered what could be taking so long. It was probably the 15th dress she tried on today, but she never lost hope. "Sir, your daughter wants to talk to you." The host that was helping your daughter find the dresses. Niall got up and went into the dressing room to see Rae, crying. "Daddy... I can't do it. My OCD is kicking in. None of these fit, match. They don't fit... There isn't the right number of buttons. The lace isn't right... It isn't the right length. Dad, I need you." Rae cried. She has always had trouble with her OCD. She would always have trouble with something if it wasn't to her liking. "Hey... Hey, Rae... You'll find a dress that's perfect for you. It doesn't have to be today. It doesn't have to be tomorrow... We'll make sure that we find the dress for you." Niall said. "But why does this happen? Why is it me, Dad?" Rae asked. "It's you because even the most best of people go through the toughest challenges." Niall said, "What about this dress? Try it on for me princess." Niall said. He walked back out to where you and her friend was sitting, and soon Rae came out with a beautiful dress on. "What do you think?" You asked. "I love it. I absolutely love it. This is the one." Rae said smoothing out the dress to it. "You're beautiful in it Rae." Niall said. OCD always got to your daughter, but you knew that Niall would always help her.

Question offfffff theeeeee Dayyyyyy isssss: Would you rather be immortal, or mortal?
I think that I would rather be mortal. I would love to live my life, and I was made to die in the end. I couldn't stand being immortal while everyone else is mortal. I couldn't stand to see everyone I love die around me. I was made to live my life short, and I'd rather do that than see the future of living forever.
Either way, amazing job on the reads! Still think you could do a bit better on the comments. xD haha, but this preference wasn't my best. I haven't been thinking straight lately, and I probably won't be... I can't really function anymore. Life is just too hard for me, and that's another reason why I wouldn't want to be immortal.
Either way, Comment, vote, and follow meh! Also, tell your friends about this... :D I'm also taking ideas for preferences. :D Just tell me, and I'll write it soon. :) thanks again for reading my pretties. It means the world to me.
