Preference #106: Your Child's First Day Of School.

Harry:

You watched your son skip off and onto the bus stop, giving him a wave every second. "I love you, Charlie! Be good for your teachers!" you yelled as he ran away from you. You felt your heart cripple inside of you as the bus doors closed and the bus drove off. You felt a tear roll down your cheek, but soon got embarrassed. "Oh my goodness, sorry I'm so emotional," you apologized to Harry as he took you into his arms. "It's okay... I'm crying too actually," Harry laughed with you. You turned to face him and saw that his green eyes were glassed over with tears. "We're such lame parents. Any good parent would be happy to see their child off for a couple hours in the day," you said, wiping your tears, then wiping Harry's. "No, I think any good parent would be sobbing like us!" He laughed once more, sighing to himself.

Louis:

"Louis! Louis! Wake up!" You woke him up as you scrambled around the house to get Candy's and Abby's outfits for school. "Why?" he mumbled. "It's the first day of school!" You yelled across the house, flipping the pancakes that they were so desirous to have before. You finished their breakfast, and finished getting them dressed in  time for you to get your camera out. "Candy and Abby, picture time!" you said. You took pictures of them eating their food, brushing their teeth, doing their hair, and putting on their backpacks. "Stop! Mom! You're being weird!" Abby held out her hand as a stop sign and blinked multiple times. "But I love you!" you smiled, holding your arms out for a big hug. You and Louis chased them out of the house, showering them with kisses before they skipped off onto the bus for the first time. "Be good! We love you!" Louis yelled to them before the bus door could close. The embarrassment on their faces was as plain as day.

Liam:

"Liam, we're getting too old!" you complained to him, as Alife laid still on his bed only minutes before you'll wake him up for his first day of school. "Last time I checked, I'm still pretty young. I don't know about you though..." Liam joked, causing you to elbow him, then laughing to yourself. "I-I just don't want to wake him up! Just imagine one day that he won't need us to wake him up. He won't need us to make him breakfast or to get him dressed. He'll be out the door before we even wake up for the morning!" You said, secretly hoping that time would last forever and that Alfie would always need you. "(Y/N)... There'll come a time when he won't need us, and it will be weird. But if you love him, you have to let him learn to do things on his own. For now, he needs us, so let's embrace what short time we have with him to do this, and in the long run, he'll appreciate it and want us back," Liam said walking towards Alfie's dormant body, shaking him gently. "Time to get up, bud."

Zayn:

Zayn wasn't there for Ben and Laila's first day of school, so you recorded the whole thing on your phone, hoping to send it to Zayn later. Ben and Laila missed him a lot, crying for him and wishing he was there to see them off. Laila even got to the point where she threatened not to get on the bus until she got a hug and kiss from daddy. "Laila, Daddy gave you a hug and kiss last night! You'll see him tomorrow morning!" you said, trying to make it up to her. "But mom! That's not good enough!" Ben complained. You sighed to yourself, hoping that they would stop so you can actually enjoy their first day of school too. You put them in the car and drove them all the way to school. Once you got them unbuckled, they grabbed onto your feet, refusing to let go. "Come'on guys, you have to let me go. Go have fun at school without me!" you suggested. "We want Daddy!" Ben said as he squeezed your leg even tighter. You finally got their teacher to come out and take them to class without you.

Niall:

"Niall! I'm bored!" you sighed from across the couch. Niall looked at you and just laughed. He continued to massage your feet as you just moped in your seat. "I've already done the dishes, the laundry, I have no toys to clean up, I have no food to make. I have no kids to take care of now that Brenden's gone for several hours. I'm honestly bored!" you said, as you were putting your hair into a braid. "Treat yourself to something then! Go out and have fun!" Niall suggested, but you shook your head. "I don't even know how to have fun! Brenden was my fun when you were at work!" you said truthfully. Niall shook his head as he took a drink from his coffee container. "I want another kid," you huffed. Niall spit out his drink with his eyes wide open, "That's a little blunt don't you think?" he asked. You shook your head no and told him you were serious about wanting another kid. "Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt. I wouldn't mind another one," Niall laughed after a while of thinking about it. "Come'on, let's go get a kid," Niall said as he took your hand and led you into the bedroom.

QOTD: What's your usual first day of school outfit?

I usually wear a shirt that sets my personality straight off the bat. For instance, I have a shirt that says, "I'm not antisocial, I just don't like you." and I've only worn it on the first days of school for like the past three years. It really sets my mood half the time.

Soooo, I was wondering if you guys wanted to send in some fanart of the boys. You don't have too, but it's totally optional. I would be posting them toooooo. :)
