Chapter 1
There once were two great spirits. They were separate being but their souls were one, they were the great wolf spirits and each and every night they would race through the sky making all the other spirits and constellations, but particularly Orion and the twins, Castor and Pollux to look over and smile at them and their youth. They would run past the ocean of stars and be looked on by Pisces and Cancer whom always pondered over their eternal happiness and laugh. The pair were like giddy children and their first love, each and every day. The two wolf spirits were in perfect harmony, and each and every full moon all wolfs and werewolf's howled to Fenrir and his mate. They are responsible for watching over any and all wolves, werewolf or not, but there is something particularly special Fenrir and his mate do for the werewolves. They have one half of the soul in one body and the other half in another. This seems cruel but it is not so, they then match these souls to each other, but they only give one part of the soul the opportunity to be born a werewolf; they make the other be born a human, but they put both souls so close to each other they have to meet especially after the born werewolf has matured, so the wolf born will be able to recognize their mate. They did this so that the wolf born could mature enough to protect their human born mate, even though the human born mate can shift after mating and so there wouldn't be a bunch of pups running around once everyone matured.

The process is easy to recognize their mate. The only way for a wolf born  to recognize their mate is to just look into their eyes, even the briefest moment, and their inner wolf (soul) will be clawing to get at their mate. Getting the human born to accept them is more difficult, but within the human born, the spirits put in a fail safe. They enchant the human born part of the soul with a charm so that if they refuse their mate they know the pain just as much as their mate does, and this is no easy pain. It is fading unto death essentially; without a mate there is no reason to live in a wolfs eyes. Fenrir did this so all wolves wouldn't have to know the pain of a broken heart and also to ensure all those born under him would know happiness and live a long meaningful life.

Finding a mate is symbolic for all wolves. This means in time they will have responsibility for their place in the pack and its future. However, until the werewolf born marks their human born mate, and they complete the mating process, the wolf born will not be able to focus at all. All they want to do after finding their mate is exactly that: mate, because their souls are not bound to each other yet.

There are some special circumstances that happen and while Fenrir and his mate put charms in the human born, His mate put a charm in the wolf born to be fair.
These cases are:
If the wolf born finds his mate but does not mark them or begin the mating process they will be in a heat from then on, making it difficult to focus on much other than their mate. On a full moon however these symptoms go away but come back even worse after each consecutive full moon

If the wolf born finds and marks his mate but doesn't finish the process they will be in the worst heat, wanting to hunt them down and finish it where ever and whenever. If the full moon passes during this time, the wolf born will go into a deep fever and will be sickly and aggressive.
These cases can be solved by letting nature take its course. However there is one very rare other case.
If a wolf born dies before meeting its mate or maturing, Fenrir and His mate assign the soul of the human born to another human born wolf, and bind these souls together. This is other wolf whom lost their partner is known as a Sayan. These Sayans protect the soul to which they're bound to. When a Sayan is bound to this other human born, it creates a link, physical and mental. This means when the Sayan reaches maturity, they can feel what their soul bound partner can. This is different from mates. Sayan are soul bound to one half of a soul, the human half,  while mates are the same soul. Sayans often wander but always find whom they're bound too and when they do they complete the binding and now both human born can feel exactly what the other is feeling or thinking at all times.
