Chapter 20

They have nothing else on Caden. we lay in bed all day other than at the one point when I got up put on a robe and opened the front door to get the pizza we ordered. We watched movies all day. At 4 Mitch said "Luna, wear something really fancy I'm taking you somewhere in honor of our engagement." I nod and go into our temporary closet. I pull out a tight short red dress with a black elastic belt. I pull it out along with some of those high heels with the extra inch heel under the toes also. (Pic on side) I go to the bathroom and pull on the dress. I put on some eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. I straighten my hair and pull it to one side. I slip my shoes on and walk out. Mitch sees me and looks at me. I walk up to him and put my hand on top of my head. I slide it across and it goes to Mitch's nose. "DANG IT EVEN WITH REALLY HIGH HEELS IM STILL NOT TALLER THAN YOU!" I yell. He just laughs and changes. The thing was is he was changing like five feet in front of me. I sit on the bed and look at my feet. I start swinging my legs and then I see Mitch standing in front of me. He holds his arm at and angle for me to take. I grab it and we walk to the small sky blue car we're renting. We arrive at a place called Quay. (lol I looked up a restaurant for u guys) we go to sit down when I spot a man looking at me. I ignore him and walk past him until he whistles. I slap him right across the face and then yell "I am not a dog thank you very much!" I turn and start to walk towards Mitch who is staring at me. He is smiling and I smile at him we continue to walk and right before we turn the corner I look at the man. He is glaring at me so I just do a little wave with an annoyed smile on my face. We walk to our table and Mitch pulls out my chair for me. I sit down and he pushes me in. He goes to his seat and sits down. We had both ordered the Marron, dory caviar, cultured cream, nasturtiums, white flowers for our main meal. (don't ask me what it is. I'm American so I have NO idea just looked it up on their menu.) we also got the Bitter chocolate black pudding,
morel, brioche cream, walnuts,
chestnut floss, Manjimup truffle for our 2nd course. For our 3rd course I got the Slow cooked duck,
black rice miso, celery heart cream, black garlic, ice plant buds and Mitch got the Stone pot organic green rice, silken tofu, mountain spinach, spring cabbage stems, seaweed. For our last course Mitch got the Green pear, coconut, feijoa, vanilla and I got the Chocolate ethereal. We finish up our meal and leave. I spot the same guy as when we were coming outside. He sees me and starts walking towards me. I grab Mitch's arm and hold tight. The man has a angry face on so I don't think he is coming to apologize. I turn around and see him running to us. He got close enough where he can reach out and touch me. I turn back around to face forward to pretend that I don't care. Out of nowhere he grabs me. I yell a scream and kick him. Mitch is trying to get to me but I guess the guy had goons that are holding him back. I guess someone inside or around here saw me and called the police because they come rolling out. The guy lets go of me and starts running. I look at Mitch and see the goons running away also. Run up to Mitch and hug him. I cry. Not again not again. I repeat that over and over in my head. Mitch carries me over to the car and we go back to our home.

A week later

We get on the plane and watch as Australia disappears under a sea of clouds. I lean my head back knowing this will be a long ride.
