Chapter XIV: The First Task

Roxy PoV

Lily, Lorcan,Lysander,Hugo and I were in serious trouble with Teddy, it was a miracle he's even letting us come to this thing. Lily had taken most of the blame so she wasn't aloud to go on a broom either.
I was really excifed as I walked down to the Quidditch pitch with my big brother and Domonique it was even better when I saw my dad and his twin heading our way. "Wanna place a bet? 20 galleons on Krumb to win this task?" my uncle Fred asked cockily.

Fred (my brother Fred) and I scoffed, "whats so funny?" the younger version of our dad said, "50 galleons, split between me and my sister for ... Krumb to tie for fist place with Harry Potter" Fred[Freddie] (my brother, you know what from now on my Uncle Fred is Fred and my brother is Freddie) said. George and Fred looked at each other and smiled at each other before looking at us, "sure, 50 galleons for Krumb and Harry to tie" said George shaking our hands. As they walked off I heard my uncle Fred mutter to my dad, "we're gonna be rich, whats the chance that actually happens", I turned to my brother "are we evil?" I asked, Freddie shook his head, "no, I wouldn't call us .. evil, we are business men .. opportunists" I raised my eyebrow, what 'opportunis even a real word? Just then Dom and Lou. walked over to us, "hurry up guys, its going to start soon" Louis said pointing to his wizards watch.

Albus PoV

I was extremely nervous and it wasn't even me who had to face the dragon (Lily and Roxy told us). I knew my dad wouldn't/didn't (time travel termonoligy is extremely difficult) die, but still ... I was a wreck. "Ok who have you coffee this morning?" Rose asked eyeing my foot which I kept tapping on the floor and my hand tapping my thigh "wha-?" was my engineous (not sure how its spelt) reply, (and I'm the smart son!!!)

Rose laughed at this, yeh I know such a nice cousin. "You nervous about something?" she said sarcastically, all I did was gulp, I was kind of nervous, who knows what was going to happen, maybe us coming here would mess something up and my dad would die! "Aha, Al stop worrying so much, just ..- here eat some popcorn or liquorish wands, seriously have some fun" she said this while handing me a box of popcrorn and a pack of liquorish wands, "yeah, what could be more fun then watching four people been attacked by dragons" I heard my brother say from the row above. I looked and saw him sitting next to Lily ,who was next to Hugo, and while he was distracted she was taking some of his gummy slugs (they sound disgusting but are actually pretty nice) and his spider marshmallows (the legs on the spiders move and it feels weird when they craw down your neck). "Oh yeh loads of fun" I said, giving Lily a little longer so she didn't get caught. When Fred called for James attention I turned around to face my little sister, (middle child yey ... not) "you owe me".

3RD PERSON PoV

"WELCOME ALL TO THE 1994 TRI-WIZARD TOURNAMENT" the voice of Barty Crouch echoed around the stadium, at these words cheers erupted from the students, and family members of the four champions. Hermione and Ron went and sat down next to the 'home-schooled exchange students', they sat next to each other next to Rose. "I hope Harry will be ok!" Hermione threated quietly but loud enough for Rose to hear. "He'll be fine ... your friend. To be honest I bet he wins, then again if he doesn't I'm down 20 galleons, and rite now I have 0 galleons and I already owe Victoire 7 galleons and 8 sickles, wait but then James ows me ... sorry I'm getting off track" she started mumbling to herself about the money thing. "Why did you bet 20 galleons on Harry winning if you have no money?" Hermione asked as Bart Crouch was explaining the force field around the bleachers.

"What can I say, I'm a gambler, I'm not as bad Roxy and Fred, they bet 50 that he'd tie with Krumb, then again I did make sure the deal was if Harry won on his own or tied for first" Rose held a bag of skeletal sweets "want one?" she offered as if it wasn't a big deal. There was a loud cannon sound making Hermione jump. As Hermione looked back to the pitch she saw a dragon that hadn't been there a few minutes ago guarding a nest of eggs, one of them was golden. Out walked Cedric Diggory wearing a yellow and black jersey, the colours of Hufflepuff.
