Today was the funeral for Cedric Diggory. It had been a long weekend. We spent all day yesterday telling Professor McGonagall, Harry, Hermione, Ron and even my dad, the important stuff. They had so many questions and we couldn't answer all of them incase it messed up the time line of the past twenty something years. And now today was the memorial service.

The whole school was depressed, people would burst out and weep in the corridors. I was in Lily's room, braiding her hair, Victoire was helping tame Roxanne's hair, she kept wincing and letting out small yelps, making Lily giggle silently.

Downstairs, the boys still weren't there. Whoever said that girls take longest to get dressed. "Ill go heard them up" I offered, before disappearing up the stairs. I eventually found all of them in Albus and Scorpius' room, even Harry, Ron and my dad was there. "Hurry up lads, we're all done, do you really wanna make us wait, if so prepare for a clean up because I swear if Victoire keeps messing with Roxanne's hair she's gonna kill someone" I said, all the boys were scattered around the room, making me feeling kinda claustrophobic.

We were all wearing something black but with our school robes over them, I had on a Weird Sisters Top borrowed off Domonique with a plain black skirt, with black see-through tights and but with white converse (that's a muggle company but their shoes are TO DIE FOR, me and Lily have like ten pairs each). "Yeah OK, we'll be there soon", someone said, I think it was Fred, I rolled my eyes.

This room stank. Stink? Or is it stunk? I have no idea. I took out my wand and made it smell less, it wasn't much of a difference but afterwards my nostrils didn't burn anymore. "Five minutes or we're leaving without you, and we all know the only reason people think your cool is cause you hang around with us" I said jokingly before turning towards the door, "you wish" I heard James call back. I smirked.

The great hall was decorated with Hufflepuff house colours and a picture of a smiling Cedric hung were the teachers table should be, Dumbledorea podium stood in front.

Two minutes later we were all stood in lines in the hall. Mr Diggory was weeping still in the front row, making me wonder if he'd been crying all weekend, which he probably has.

The room was silent as Dumbledore silently made his way to the podium. I held onto James's hand for comfort as he started talking, James squeezed my hand but didn't say anything.

"Today is a sad day for us all, we have lost one of our most promising wizards Cedric Diggory, he was a kind, intelligent boy with a lot of friends and a family who loved him dearly" Mr Diggory let out a dry son. "But we are not here to mourn Mr Diggory we are here to celebrate his life" I zoned out after that. I started to think.
We were here to celebrate his life and yet his life had hardly begun, he was never going to grow old and be wrinkled with grey hair, never going to fall in love and get married or have children, he's not even going to graduate.

Ok why am I tearing up?

I felt my hand been squeezed again, and looked over at James. He smiled gently and I smiled back quickly wiping away the fear that had fell from my eye.

Later that night there was a huge feast in his honour will all his favourite foods.

"To Cedric" Teddy raised his glass, "to Cedric!" we all cheered, even Harry,Hermione, Ron and my dad was there.

Then the huge doors burst open. Loudly.

There stood the people we all knew extremely well. Neville Longbottom, Ronald Weasyley, Hermione Granger and Harry Potter.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you all have a fab 2016. Chapters quiete short but I hope you liked it. Remember this is just my version, this is how I imagine Cedrics funeral so don't hate.
