"You're insane." Kai took a step back, tears filling his eyes. "What have you done?"
I stared at him. A smile tugged on my lips. Blood stained my filthy cream shirt, the consequence of butchering the nest of Cranks I stumbled across. My emotions muddled into a haze, clouding my thoughts. The thirst for blood had grown insatiable since leaving the maze an eternity ago. "What are you talking about?"
Kai shook his head before pressing his hands to his eyes. "You warned me. Oh, God. What have you done?"
