Note: I am not in any way associated with BBC or any of the people involved in the making of the show Merlin, I am just a fan. The beginning few parts are from the last episode of the show and they spoil the ending.

"There is something I want to say," the Arthur said, struggling with his words.
"You are not going to say goodbye," his loyal servant said.
"No," the king shook his head as Merlin held him up slightly, breathing heavily, "Everything you've done, I know now. For me, for Camelot, for the kingdom you helped me build."
"Well you couldn't have done it without me," Merlin said, making Arthur laugh.
"Maybe," he said as his expression turned serious, "I wanted to say something I've never said to you before."
The young king turned to his loyal friend, looked him in the eyes and told him,
"Thank you," Those were King Arthur's last words before his eyes closed. It would be a very long time until he would open them again.
