Ok I went into a lot of the theories that I thought of today thinking, this is going to be an ass blasting bitchloid ( kudos to anyone who gets the reference ). Now this theory makes a lot of sense. In fnaf 1,2, and 3 we play in a form of purgatory now remember how I said that the kids were stuffed under the stage, well there was five more killings, they were stuffed into suits. That is why the kids are in the animatronics in fnaf1. In fnaf2 the animatronics were the last things the kids saw, so they trusted that being that they saw. In fnaf3, it's obvious. But in fnaf4 you play as the kids brother, he has toys because he is almost a teen, not yet. So he wants to fit in with the older kids. The teens influenced him and so he started being cruel to his younger brother. Have you noticed how there are only two bedrooms, a young boys and girls. They got rid of the younger kids bedroom after the bite of 83, yes 83. Not 87, 83. Scott thought we wouldn't notice. But back to the theory. The nightmare started to show up after the fifth minigame. The older brother is remembering the things he's done and now is haunted by his younger brother. So the younger brother is in purgatory. But if you get killed by the nightmare, in theory, the character dies. Because of the focused psychokinetic energy he has the ability to kill. BOOM
