Chapter 22

Hayes POV

I woke up and Ashlynn was on the floor
I got up, picked her up and put her on the bed

I went down stairs and saw that people across the street were moving in
I just hope theyre nicer than the two old ladies that lived there before

They always yelled at me to get a hair cut and it was just uncomfortable

I was looking through the fridge and we had no food or anything

I walked back up the stairs and ash was on her phone

"Hey, there you are" she says smiling at me
She makes my heart melt with just a little smile

"We don't have any food so if you want to put pants on we can go together" I say and she starts to laugh

"Yeah, I'm going to take a shower and then we can go out to breakfast then go shopping because I don't feel like cooking" she says

"Sounds good to me we haven't been out on a date in a while" I say
"So were not going to invite my sister?" Ash asks going through her clothes

"No I want to go out with my favorite girl without anyone else" I say and she smiles

"Where are we going, how should I dress?" She asks

"No where fancy just wear what you want" I say

She grabs high waisted shorts, a crew neck sweatshirt that had a whale and next to it it says "my blubber is none of your business so you can just piss right off" on it, underwear, bra and a towel

She walks to the bathroom to shower and I just wait for her on the bed

I heard the shower stop and she walks out wrapped in a towel

"Okay babe, time for you to leave, I need to get dressed" she says

"Really? You're going to kick me out"

"I need to get ready" she says looking at me like I'm stupid

"So do I, it would make sense to get ready together like normal couples do" I say

"Okay, I guess that'll work" she says

I got out a pair of dark blue gym shorts and a blue t-shirt

I look over at ash who has just underwear and a bra on and she looks disgusted

"What?" I ask

"You just picked out dark blue shorts and a sea foam green shirt" she said

"They're both blues what's the problem?" I ask and her jaw dropped to the floor

"I'm not going to let you walk out of the house like that, ever" she says and walks over to my side of the closet

"Why what's wrong with it?" I ask

"Babe you don't wear two different shades of blue"she says
She takes khaki shorts and a black tshirt and throws them at me

"You're welcome" she says walking back to her clothes

"I'm so glad I have my own fashion designer" I say and she throws a flip flop at me

I put on my clothes and she puts on hers
Once I see she's all dressed I ask
"Are you ready to go?"

"No! I still need to do my hair and makeup" she says

"You don't need makeup youre pretty without it and you can just throw your hair in a bun or something" I say

"No babe, we are going to a restaurant and then to the store and god only knows where else, I need to look presentable" she says
