Chapter 30

**fast forward to the hayes' first competition day on dancing with the stars**

Hayes p.o.v

I wake up to a loud buzzer noise

I open one eye to look around the room. Ash gets up and turns the alarm off
She looks at me with a very big smile on her face and I can't tell what the pretty little head of hers is thinking about

"Do you know what today is?" She asks still smiling widely

Today is the day Emma and I will be dancing on live television for the first week of dancing with the stars

I look at her and nod

"Get up hayes ! You have one more rehearsal before tonight! Your whole family is going to be there to support you baby aren't oh excited?!" She asks doing a little dance

"I am very excited but I'm more nervous than anything.. Why are you so excited?" I ask sounding more rude than I had intended

Her smile weakens at my words but she continues
" I know how hard you've been working for this day and I know pure going to nail it and I just can't wait to see you do it" he says
My heart grows as she speaks each word
God I love her so much

"I love you more than you know babe. Thank you for being so supportive, you've it no idea how much better you just made me feel about today" I say siting up in bed
She pads over to my side of the bed and gives me a huge kiss on the lips before going to the bathroom
I glance over at the clock an it reads 8:46

"Babe why did you set an alarm so early? My rehearsal doesn't start until noon?" I yell so she can hear me over the running water of the shower
"I wanted to take you out to breakfast to commemorate today" she yells back

I walk over to the bathroom door and crack it open slightly
"I love you" I say and she smiles
"I love you" she says and I shut the door

I walk downstairs and put food down for all three dogs.
By the time the dogs all eat and go outside I walk back up to the room and ash is in a towel sitting at the mirror doing her makeup

She has music playing so she doesn't hear me come in
She sings and guns along to the song and it's such a heavenly sound I will never get sick of.
After I realize how creepy it is to just stand and stare at her I walk up behind her to make my presence known
She looks up at me and smiles and I return the gesture

I lay on the bed and wait for her to finish
As ash gets dressed and does her hair I get out a plain black tshirt and some khaki shorts
I get dressed and see that ash is all ready.

"You ready to go bub?" She asks and I can't help but smile at her words

"As ready as ill ever be baby"
She smile and kisses me on the cheek

I grab her hand and lead her I the car
As I pull out of the drive way
"So where would you like to go" she asks

"Um I don't know, ou can choose" I say. I didn't wasn't in the mood for a certain something I just want something to eat

"Nooo today is all about you so you have to pick. Wherever you decide just drive there" she says with a chuckle
I think about it or a minute an the first place that pops into mind is a cafe down town I remember taking ash to and it was one of the best nights I've had
We were both so happy and loving that night I want to go back

Ashlynn's POV

Hayes never said where he wanted to go he just drove
I didn't mind it that much

I stare at my phone mindlessly scrolling and listening to the radio play an hayes takes his hand off the wheel and pus it on my thigh
