I ordered the squad into the debriefing room fifteen minutes ago. I sat impatiently in my chair, my hands tightly gripped the arm rest as I slowed my breathing.
I feel fooled by a two bit, one eyed assassin.

"Deadshot," I hissed to myself.
My eyes shot open when the squad entered. They took their seat as I stood up.

"I'm guessing Black Spider didn't make it," Said Poison Ivy as she eyed the new recruit: Mirror Master.
"No, he was killed by Lawton. He's gone rogue with Wilson." I saw, from the corner of my eye, June Moone close her eyes and sigh in relief.
"Wait, so Slade and Floyd are working together?" Killer Frost scoffed, "Sounds like a deadly alliance, if you ask me."

"First, I didn't," I began," Second, they are not deadly, just focused on their target." "And who may that be?" Asked King Shark between his gritting teeth.

"The same as ours," I answered as I flicked on the slideshow.

"Joker!" Gasped Poison Ivy as she glared at his picture.
"Yes, Gotham's government has reached out to us, discreetly of course, to handle the one man who single handily raised both Gotham's crime rate and body count."

"How is this manic Slade and Floyd's target?" Asked June.
"Joker is responsible burning down an apartment building that held Arkham Asylum's very own: Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Which was the lady that Wilson cares for deeply."

Poison Ivy slammed her fist on the table, but she said nothing. She glared in front of her as thorns grew out of her arms. She closed her eyes and took a harsh breath.

"Ivy, focus." I demanded.

She slowly turned her head to me, eyes shot open. They were bloody red, her purple veins pulsed against her emerald skin. "Consider me very focused," She sneered as her fist grew tighter.

I eyed her as she looked deadly at me.

"Your mission," I began as I broke our gaze, "is complex. Joker is unpredictable and unmerciful. He has no care towards human life, he is well supplied with a small army. Plus, Gotham is a war zone with Cooblepot and Maroni fighting over turf. And we can't forget about Batman, he doesn't kill, but he will damper our plans. He will reach Joker before we could and will protect and deliver him to Arkham; away from our grasp. Knowing Wilson, he wants revenge for Dr. Quinzel's death. He must've paid Lawton, who doesn't work for free, enough money to help him."

"So you want us to kill Joker, a man with zero predictability and Deadshot, a marksman who never misses a target? In Gotham? Which is at war and filled to T with killers, a flying Bat vigilante, and vengeful government enhanced assassin?" Killer Frost asked hysterically as she studied her fellow member's reaction.
"If this isn't a suicide mission, I don't know what is." Said Mirror Master as he finally broke his silence.

"You know exactly what you signed up for," I said to Mirror Master, but then turned my gaze to the entire squad, "all of you, know exactly what you signed up for."

"What's the plan?" asked a determined Poison Ivy.

"Simple, yet complex. Mirror Master will go undercover with Oswald Cobblepot as his personal guard. Cobblepot and Joker have a meeting to discuss gun trade and territory dispute. Mirror Master will help deliver the guns to Joker's headquarters. Plant some cameras and get a closer look into his schedule. You only have an hour that's why you are the most useful, thanks to your...abilities."

"And ya ain't freaky looking like the rest of us!" King Shark laughed at Mirror Master's discomfort and my disgust.

Killer Frost joined in as he laid her hand on his shoulder and gave a hardy laugh.
