[A/N:

I know most of you don't read author's note, even I don't but I'm writing one nonetheless.

*Taking the microphone and clearing my throat*

"Mr. Mic let me test you 1...2...3..." (Oh I've got such a criminal mind)

Anyways...

And later come over to my house for cookies. Or alcohol. Or both. *Wink.*]

Get a grip, Reese. I say that to myself for the hundredth time and repeat it again. Get a fucking grip.

I should run. Turn around and run up the building and hide in my dad's office. The guards will obviously stop Gabriel at the door to come after me but then he will trample them and all the other lives like some giant mad elephant.

Why is he here? Why did he bother to come leaving his spouse. He's no right to stand there, looking like the epitome of male perfection. Suddenly I feel like an ugly duckling standing in front of a elegant white swan.

From his inky black hair styled casually to enhance his sculpted features, to the tips of his Gucci leather shoes, he exudes delectable masculine appeal. He also looks tired, the skin around his sludgy blue eyes lined with fatigue.

Standing awkwardly and mutely by the curb, I look around furtively to see for an escape. When I look back, Gabriel is staring me down again—that same gaze that undresses me, unraveles me, every time. He doesn't say anything to me directly, but I can feel his eyes following my every move as he walks towards us with slow yet determined strides. As if he is giving me the countdown and if I don't do anything he will jump in.

His sensual lips curves to an enticing smile and my lips fall apart. Breath catches in my throat when I focus on those smoldering blues and my heart suddenly picks up its pace. Why is he doing this to me? Go away...please.

"Tony." Ellen's voice is barely heard over the rush of traffic and blurting of horns. I feel the car door knock at my hips, breaking the trance and making me look down at her as my head turns fast. She steps out with a quizzical look and pursed lips. "I think he wants to talk to you."

Seriously? Do I want to? And even if I do talk, what do I say? Hi Gabriel how's life and how is your husband...or wife... aaand oh yeah, what the hell are you doing here?

No. No, there's no way in hell I'm ready to talk to him. End of.

My eyes swinging from Ellen to Gabriel. I'm not careless or stupid – but being with Gabriel somehow turns me irrational, impulsive and even violent. It hurts to realise how much he has affected me and my personality. I want to hurt him for hurting me but how can I how him when in the end I will the one left hurt. So yeah, do I really want to talk to him?
