To be with the one who loved me on that tree,
Or to become a princess to a person who chose me?
A single choice that could change my whole life.
Should I be a six? Or should I be a prince's wife?

The guard was my lover, my love and my friend.
Up on that treehouse, our love was never pretend.
But because of his pride, he wanted the best for me.
Asked me to sign my name, on a contest that I wanted to flee.

The prince was the opposite of what I thought royalties are.
In truth he was caring, kind, and has a good heart.
Out of thirty-five young women, he chose my heart to be his.
But am I really the only one? Or should I be worried of Kriss?

In the end I realized that my love story was twisted.
Lots of lives on that rebel attack has once and for all ended.
But I'm surely glad that Maxon finally chose to fight,
To finally eliminate what he knew from the start wasn't right.

To all fans of The Selection series, this is for you :) i'll be making a book, a poem book about The Selection, but this will be the only thing that would e in it. Unless you ask me to.
