Where do I go?
What place would take me?
I'm broken, unfixable.
Nobody wants me.
This is a cold, dark place.
I don't like it,
But it will have to do.
It is the only place that would take me.
There is no other place.
I see you,
Walking up this way.
You could turn away,
Just like everyone else.
You could ignore me,
Just like everyone else.
But you do not.
You take me to a place.
A warm, sun filled place.
I like it.
You stay with me,
You do not leave.
You are not like everyone else.
You are different.
My kind of different.
If you were to ever leave me,
I would follow shortly.
Our souls are tied together,
They cannot part.
