The Deal

I am really sorry for not updating. I am going through so much homework and planning. Also, making more crafts and stuff. It is tough to be a sophomore. I really am sorry guys.

Malchior's POV

I left where Raven was in. I sense a presence here. I went to go see who was near the exit. When I open the door, there stood a man with a mask on. The color was orange and black with an 'S' on it. Wonder what this man wants.

"What do you want?" I asked him, my voice still in disguised.

"I know who you are, so there is no need to hide, Malchior. I just want to help you in your dilemma." He said.

I was surprised that he knows who I am, but I do not know who he is. I took away my voice disguise and took off the cloak I was wearing.

"Oh, where are my manners, my name is Slade. I know that you are seeking for freedom. Freedom from that book of yours. You think you just need a spell. That spell will just be broken with a curse. But, I found a spell that can work all the way. It is so powerful that a curse won't even prevent the spell. There will be nothing that Raven can do to stop it."

I thought about what he said. He is right, the spell can be breaked. Just like she did the other time. But, this time, I was going to make sure she would never find the curse. He does have a point, but how can I be so sure if he is telling me the truth.

"If you are really telling me the truth, show me the spell." I demanded.

Slade handed me a fold up piece of paper. I opened it and began to read it. I am still feeling skeptical.

"How do you know this is the spell."

"I know many people that can give me anything. Trust me, it does work." He said.

I thought about it.

"What's the catch?" I asked.

"When you're done with the girl, give her to me." He said.

"Why would you want Raven?"

"For personal reasons." He hesitated.

"It's either freedom or be forever trapped within that book of yours. It is all up to you, Malchior. Do we have a deal?" He asked.

I thought about what he said. I really do want out of this book, but I still don't want him to just take away Raven just yet. Just in case if this spell is a fraud, I wanted her still her for the other spell I had in mind. But, what if the spell does work?

"Deal."
