Slade's POV

"Deal."

"Excellent."

I began to smile under my mask. It feels good when you just get what you want.

"We need her to make this spell. If you want we can do it now." I said.

Malchior thought about it for a while, then he looked at me.

"Let's do it."

Perfect.

"Bring her out here and tell her what to do. She does not need any potions for this spell to work." I explained.

He nodded and went to put his disguised on and went to get Raven.

I went to the dark corner and just decide to surprise her once she is done with the spell.

That little bird will help me to get what I need to take down the Titans. Once and for all.

Raven's POV

I kept on thinking what would Malchior want to do with me. Just moments later, he walked on with the same disguised.

"It's time for you to help me." He said.

"Cut the act, Malchior. I know it's you under there. I'm not helping you do anything." I said.

He took off his disguised and looked at me with his piercing blue eyes. He is till in his paper form. But, the book is not with him. I guess he is not bound to it or he can be a certain distance away from it still.

"Oh, you think you have a choice."

He came up to me, untied the rope on my ankles and grabbed my writs from my back. He made me get up and walked with him.

"There's a band on your wrist. With that band around your wrist, your powers are useless. So, you have no choice but to follow me and as I say, my sweet Raven." He said.

Great. I am never going to get out of here. He probably really want to get get out of that book. But, I know curses to make sure it won't last. I will just say it with out him looking.

He took me to, where I think, it's where he plots his ideas.

He turned to me and untied my wrists and took the band off.

"If you think you can just teleport out here, you can't. These walls make sure you don't get put unless I want you to. It will electrify you." Malchior said.

"Why am I here, Malchior." I said.

"To free me of courses. I am still bound to this book. Everything was going so well till you decided to force me back into that book. What, did my sweet Raven thought she would have a happy ending with the wizard?" He said.

I thought he cared for me. I did what he wanted me to do and stabbed me in the back. He used me.

"Well, guess what. I am going to do that again. This time, if you don't do this spell, I know a spell that can end your friends in a ever so slowly pain. You will have the front row seats to watch them suffer." Malchior said.

I don't want to give him what he wants so easily. But, at the same time, I don't want my friends to get hurt because of me.

I thought about this for a minute. My friends are my family, even if we have our ups and downs.

"I'll do it."

"That's the sweet Raven I know. Always caring about her friends. Here, all you got to do is say this spell." He said.

He gave me a piece of paper. I opened it and read it. I gasped.

"Where did you get this spell?" I asked him.

"None of your concern..."

"Where did you get it, Malchior." I cut him off.

"He got it from me." A voice said behind me.

"Of course. The one who worked with my father. How did you get this from him? He would never give anything to anyone. Especially someone who turned his back on him." I turned and face to Slade.

"Well, he was the one who was going to stab me in the back any time soon. You said so yourself." He said.

"How did you get this spell? There was no way in hell my father would just handed this to you." I told him.

"Your father might had great plans, but did not know how to hide things."

Great. This is a spell that cannot be broken. Not even with a curse. It's one of those spells where you really had to think to get rid of it or you're doomed.

"Enough of your chatting. Start the spell, my sweet Raven. Or else your friends will suffer." Malchior said.

"Will you let me go when I'm done?" I asked him.

"Of course."

"Fine."

I went to a corner and Malchior followed me with his book. I crossed my legs and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and began to focus my powers. Then, I began the spell.

"*Insert Spell Here*"

A/N: sorry, I wanted to just get this chapter over with. I haven't updated, so the least to do is hurry typing this.

I opened my eyes, and there stand before me is a dragon. The book is right next to him.

"Finally, I'm free from that book once again. It feels good to be back. You shall pay for what you have done in the past." Malchior said.

"Remember the deal, Malchior." Slade said.

"What deal?" I asked.

"Fine." Malchior said.

Slade began to grab me from the wrist.

"Hey, let me go. I thought you said I can leave." I said.

"Turns out I wasn't keeping that promise. Do you really think I would just let you go that easily? Poor, sweet Raven. Still believing me. How pathetic." Malchior said.

I fell for it. Again. Why me? Out of all people. It always have to be me. Slade began to pull me through the exit.

"No! You lied. Again. I swear I will find a way to make sure you won't ever come back." I said.

"Oh sweet Raven, how will you ever do that if this spell is unbreakable?"

Slade kept on pulling my wrist to follow him. On my way to the exit, I grabbed the book and took it with me.

I will find a way to make sure he won't ever return. Ever.

This, is the longest chapter. I wanted to update today because 1) I have not updated in a long time. 2) The other chapter was really short. And 3) It is my Birthday and I want to give you guys something.

Hope you guys enjoyed. I am so sorry for how late I updated. So much homework and planning. It's driving me insane. Really am sorry.
