Somber

Grey skies with cries of thunder,

silent tears that have not been shed,

until the morning starts to weep,

and the night is in silent somber.

Will I awaken from this restless sleep?

And no longer have to wonder?

Oh, thoughtful thoughts that bring

such shudder unto me,

when I no longer speak

and I no longer weep.
