I walk into the Tower with the children, and I'm greeted by a frazzled Pepper, who smiles at the sight of them.

"Hey, kids, are you okay to hang out with Pepper, while I have to take care of a few things?" They don't look very sure, until Pepper says,

"We have toys." They cheer, and she whisks them away, while I take the elevator up into the newly renovated penthouse.

When I walk in, Tony is stumbling everywhere, reeking of alcohol, and Bruce, poor, poor Bruce, is trying to calm him down.

"Tony, j- Tony, will you just- Tony, don't- No, don't touch that. Its not s- oops. Rose, I'm sorry. I tried to stop him. He's unconscious now." Bruce says, just looking from me to the floor where Tony is now lying.

"Its alright, Bruce. I know that you tried. Cap!" I tell him, and Cap walks into the room.

"Can you take Tony to his room, please? I don't think he'll be much more help to us now than he was when he was partially sober." Cap cracks a smile, and I go to check on Loki, who has his cuffs and mask on.

"Hey, buddy buddy buddy." He quirks an eyebrow at me, and I laugh.

"Its from a movie. Anyways, how are you? Didn't you like your shawarma?" He only glares at me, and I go to the door. "Okay, well, bye then." I leave, and I hear the kids screaming. I run to where they and Pepper are, worried, when I see them with Cap.

He's tickling them. Phew!

They laugh, rolling about on the ground, trying to get away from him. He plays with them, and I can help but watch from the doorframe. The kids start running around him in a circle, and he whips around every second to keep them in his sights. Natasha and Pepper are sitting on some beanbag chairs that are scattered about the room. Cameron sees me, and wobbles over, and I pick him up. Steve sees me, and the girls jump all over him, tackling him to the ground. He chuckles, as the rest of us girls laugh.

"Hi, Rose, these little stinkers yours?" He asks, picking both the twins up, placing one on each of his hips.

I start to laugh, but I try to cover it up by coughing into my fist. Smooth Rose, real smooth. While I'm 'coughing', Pepper speaks up for me.

"No, they're the children of a family that she's been hanging out with for almost a year now."

"Oh," He says, looking at Annabeth and Piper, "they're the kids of that soldier that recently..."

"Ya, that's them." I say, after I recover from my coughing fit. Pepper and Natasha look back and forth between Steve and I, and a small smile creeps into both of their faces.

"We're going to go put the kids in bed, you two kids have fun." Natasha winks at me, as she takes Cameron from my arms.

I roll my eyes jokingly at her, and as the door closes, Steve starts to look nervous.

"You okay, Steve?" I ask, as I start to pick up some of the kids toys.

He swallows, "Ya, I'm fine."

"You act like you haven't been alone in a room with a girl before." He chuckles, scratching the back of his head.

"That's because, it, uh, I'm not very good with girls."

"What?" I ask, shocked. "That's crazy talk! Do you know how many girls outside of this tower would love to get their hands on you? I mean, really, there are already fan fictions about you-oh, but don't read some of them. They hurt your head. Seriously though!"

"Well, besides from you right now, the only other girl I was really alone with, was, um, a girl named Peggy." He sighs,   and we sit down on the beanbag chairs.
