The Harry Potter book series has won, in total, 41 awards. The movies have won 87 awards from the first movie to the eighth.
The Twilight saga has won 24 writing/book awards and 74 movie awards. The first movie with 24.

Copies sold:
The Harry potter series has sold a successful 500 million copies since 1997, making it the most successful book series in the world.
The Twilight Saga has sold almost 100 million copies, a fifth of Rowling's books.

The First Twilight book was not recognized until a couple months after it was released whereas Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was an immediate success. The rights of Harry Potter was also auctioned off at $100,000, a record that still stands for a foreign children's book.

Copies sold per year(approx.):
If HP has sold 500 million copies in 18 years divide 500,000,000 by 18 and you get 28 million per year (well more like 27,777,877 but I'm rounding off here! Give me a break!)
Twilight has sold 100 million copies in 12 years so if you divide 100,000,000 by 12 you'd get 8,333,333 or rounding off, 8 million per year

But let's go even more intricate.
Divide 28,000,000 by 365 you'd get 76,712 per day.
For Twilight, 8,000,000 ÷ 365= 21,917 per day.
In short, it seems as though Harry Potter is more successful than Twilight.
I'm not going to give a point to this one because that's just cheating. This statistic is determined by the pervious one and would only showing favorites. Also, its just not logical.
Fanbases:
Harry Potter has a much larger fan base than Twilight, seeing how many copies were sold, printed, how many users on social media there are that are fans of HP, how many districts and countries the books are sold and lastly, Twilight appeals to young adults and teenagers whereas Harry Potter has been read by people of all ages and has been passed down to the next generation.

Now, if we add up all the points that have been awarded,
Harry Potter: 7 points
Twilight: 0 points
I'm sorry Twi-hards, I have no control over worldwide statistics and I have to award without bias. In the future Twilight will win points, I'm sure of it. But for now, Twilight has zero points.
