Prologue:
The pain was intense. I remember screaming. Fear and blood was all that was apparent to me. The sensation of fire and the feel of burning filled me. Enveloped me. I screamed, yelled, swore. The words I spoke had no effect nor sound. The ringing in my ears encased my brain and my mind. I didn't deserve this. At least I don't think I did. What did I do? What action did I cause to end up here? None? Exactly. I was encased in agony, dripping with blood. My hair turning from black to red. My eyes becoming bloodshot. My entire being had no meaning within this torture. I never knew it was possible to feel this much throbbing until it suddenly just... stopped. I opened my eyes and what I saw almost sent me back into that pain.
