Tris POV||
I open my eyes weakly, looking around the room. The last thing I remember is the nurse yelling to get someone, then everything went black.
I click the button next to me, when I push it a nurse will come in and help me with whatever I need.
A man doctor walks in and closes the door. I shift up a little in my place, my stomach hurts like hell.
"What happened?" I croak softly, my throat dry.
"You had a heart failure Tris. Since the birth was very stressful for you and the baby, it caused some blood blockage in the arteries. When you were struggling to breath when having the baby, it caused you muscles to tense, squishing the arteries. When you were bleeding, that was all the excess blood that has been clogged" he speaks softly. "We saved you just in time."
I breathe in deeply for a couple of seconds trying to process all the information.
"Can I see Tobias and Chloe please?" I ask.
"Sure, ill get them for you" he smiles.
"Doc! Thank you for saving my life. I will forever be grateful." I smile at him.
"Your welcome Tris" he smiles back. I watch him walk out the door and into the waiting room. I can hear Tobias's soft, soothing voice talking to the people in the waiting room.
I look around me. There are wires and cords attached to me.
I have 2 nubbin's in my nose from a transparent tube connecting to a small cannula that stands on the floor next to me.
Next thing I know Tobias comes in, shutting the door behind him. He rushes over to me, standing beside the bed. He even inspects the cords that are attached to me.
Tears mark his cheeks as he softy speaks, "I thought I was going to lose you."
I shake my head, as tears blur my vision.
"Your never gonna lose me, baby." I croak. I watch him as he sits down on the chair beside the hospital bed, taking my hand with his.
"It all came rushing back," he says looking into my eyes, more tears mark his cheeks. "The night you tried to kill yourself. The night where I was holding you in my arms and you stopped breathing. I wished that I never felt that way again...but seeing you stop breathing today - I couldn't bare the thought of almost loosing you again."
Tears rush out of my eyes as I try and hold in my sobs.
"I love you." He says squeezing my hand tightly.
"I love you too." I cry.
He gets his hand and wipes the tears of with his thumb. He leans in and presses his lips to mine. They move in perfect timing. He pulls back.
"Please don't leave me. Ever." He says looking at me in the eyes.
I smile lightly at him, "I ain't going nowhere."
