Ross: hey what are you watching??

Riker: the news their talking about some people just getting into a car crash something about a drunk driver hitting two teenage girls in a car

Ross: oh... Have they identified the girls yet

Riker: no but it did say it hit right in the front of the car so both of the girls are possibly severely hurt

I look at the TV to see a similar looking car... It looks just like Laura's

News Anchor: we have just been confirmed that the two girls hit by the 30 year old drunk driver are 16 year old Lillian McRyan and Laura Marano

Ross: WHAT?!?!

Riker: Oh My God..... MOM WE HAVE TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL

Ross: I'll call Nessa and ask her to call Lilly's parents

Riker: I'll text Sean

I open up my phone and quickly dial Nessa's number even though my whole body is shaking
Vanessa: hello?? Ross??
Ross: have you not turned the tv on today.... Laura just got into a car crash
Vanessa:.............

[Now]

Vanessa: s-she what?!?!
Ross: s-she got into a-a car a-accident
Vanessa: okay umm... I'll call my dad and we'll meet you at the hospital
Ross: okay umm also can you call Lilly's parents cause she was with Laura
Vanessa: I will... I'll see you soon
Ross: okay
I ended the call and ran out to get into the car... My phone started to ring again as everyone started to get in the car
Ross: Hello?
???: yes hi this was the last number used in her call list so is this Ross Lynch?
Ross: this is??
???: hi I'm detective Johnson calling from Miss Laura Marano's phone what is your relation with her
Ross: I'm her boyfriend
D. Johnson: I would like to tell you she and her friend Lillian Carter are being taken to North Hospital and that's all I'm able to tell you
Ross: th-thanks for telling me
The call ends and I notice that we're already into town

Ross: umm their at north hospital

Stormie: alright we'll get there soon

I nod my head and open up my messages then text Nessa:
Ross Da Boss🎤: hey some detective just called me from Laura's phone and said that she's headed to North Hospital
Ness🐺: okay I'll tell Lilly's parents I'm still trying to get a hold of my dad so I'm just going to drive there myself
Ross Da Boss🎤: okay be safe
Ness🐺: I will
I go out of those messages and into Laura's to see the last text she sent me:

I feel tears well up in my eyes and then a hand on my shoulder. I look over to see Rydel giving me a sympathetic look on her face. She wraps her arm around me and hugs me tight. I lay my head on her shoulder and let the silent tears flow
