Chapter 5

I turned on my laptop and searched up the new song.

I clicked play and the voices of my idols flooded through the speakers and into my mind.

The melody was catchy and the instruments were phenomenal in the background.

Jessie was right, this is a good song.

I bobbed my head along to the beat of the song and tapped my finger on my desk.

I was interrupted by my phone ringing. I reached over and grabbed it.

It was Jessie, I answered it.

"Hello?" I said.

"Lexi." Something was off.

"Jess?" I questioned

"I need you to come over...." she said trailing off at the end.

"Okay, yeah. What's wrong" I said closing my laptop and grabbing my keys.

"Please ju-just come over" She sobbed and hung up.

I slipped my phone into my pocket and and ran to my car.

I started my car and sped of to Jessie's house
