It's a really short chapter I've been really busy :/ anyways hope you like it!:)
Chapter Four.
Marilyn heard the screech of car tires. Her eyes still closed waiting for the impact that never came. She opened her eyes when she heard the car down open and a familiar voice yelling. Her vision still blurred by tears but she didn't fight against the strangers arms she was in.
Marilyn sobbed into his shirt trying to calm herself but failing miserably. All he did was hold her tight against him mum merging things that didn't make sense.
Marilyn finally looked up and smiled at the last person she thought would be comforting her.
Tyler.
Tyler guided Marilyn to his car. He quickly jogged towards the drivers seat and started driving. There was definately tension in the car but Marilyn was too preoccupied with her thoughts to actually care.
Was Elliot really back? How could he? He was suppose to be in jail! Now he would attack her family for what she did to him. Mum, dad, Clark.....Tyler.
Tyler? What was she going to tell him? That she just liked running out on the roads crying cause she likes the adrenaline rush she gets when she thinking of getting him by a car?
Panic surged into Marilyn's veins. Her heart started pounding loudly her throat clogging up. Her vision blurred as she felt her self shake uncontrollably. Marilyn tried to move her hands they wouldn't move nor would her mouth utter a single word.
Tyler glanced at Marilyn once again and stopped the car immediately at the side of the rode. Marilyn was shaking uncontrollably. Oh, crap a panic attack! Tyler shook her slightly hoping to snap her out. Two things could happen now either she would faint or she would throw a fit and things could go bad.
"Marilyn. Marilyn, everything's alright. I'm here. No ones going to hurt you I promise." Tyler said as he gathered Marilyn's into his arms. She was now in his lap. Tyler held on to her tightly to show her that she was in his arms safe. Marilyn trembling decreased slowly and so did her breathing. Tyler sighed with relief.
"Thank you." Marilyn mummered softly. Tyler tilted her chin up so he could see her face. There were tears ready to spill in her panic filled eyes, her lower lip trembling.
"Are you okay now?" Tyler asked smiling at her.
"Ya, um, thanks." Marilyn slid to her seat embarassed when she realized she was on Tyler's lap. Tyler started to drive again and kept glancing at her, worried. After some more glances Marilyn rolled her eyes and said.
"I'm not going to spontaneously combust Tyler." Marilyn said. Tyler grinned at Marilyn. She was back.
"There's nothing wrong in taking precautions. I don't want your goop to cover my baby." Tyler said grinning.
"My goop? Seriously? Ugh, never mind." Marilyn said crossing her arms over her chest.
"Yes, your goop. Humans spill blood and body parts but your a...god knows what so you'll burst and leave behind goop." Tyler explained. Marilyn gaped at him before arguing with him.
When they reached near Marilyn's house Tyler finally spoke seriously after he made sure that Marilyn was relaxed and hopefully wouldn't run away.
"Are you going to tell what exactly happened?" He asked. Marilyn froze.
"What happened?" Marilyn asked cooly but her insides were jumping in frenzy.
"You know what Marilyn. I'm sure you don't like to run in streets and just to get hit my cars so tell me." Tyler said calmly as he looked at Marilyn
"Well you know what? I don't want to tell you. It's none of your business." Marilyn said glaring at him. She hoped he would stop but knowing Tyler even in such a short time she knew when he was determined he got whatever he wanted.
"It becomes my problem when I almost ran you over. When you cried in my arms for god knows what reasons. It becomes my problem when you don't tell me and I'll have to look somewhere else to find out what you're hiding!" Tyler raised his voice an octave hoping Marilyn would blurt it out. But boy was he wrong he just seemed to fire her up!
"Why do you even care?" Marilyn yelled.
"I just do!" Tyler yelled back.
"The people who need to care don't why do you? All of you've been doing is insult so why bother now?" She reasoned.
"For someone who should be grateful I saved your life you have a funny way of showing it! The least you could owe is an explanation." Tyler said through clenched teeth.
"I don't owe you anything. Thank you for saving my life. Goodnight Tyler." Marilyn said as she got out of the car slamming the door before glaring at Tyler once more. Tyler stared at her retreating back. His hands clenching the steering wheel tightly his knuckles white. Marilyn didn't look back once. When she walked inside her house Tyler grit his teeth once more before heading home.
