2.| December of 2014 the residents of Honolulu, Hawaii were sent into a confused frenzy as they watched a giant crab cross the street. The species is known as the coconut crab, and they can grow as big as 9 pounds and 3 ft. Wide, and they can live to 120 years old. They are even known to eat cats, steal food, and tear up garbage cans. The coconut crab is currently illegal in Hawaii.

3.|The giant golden-crowned flying fox is a megabat and one of the largest bats in the world. The flying fox can have a wingspan of up to 5.6 ft. And weigh 2.6 pounds, which is really heavy for the average bat that weighs only a few grams. The flying fox isn't dangerous, but they are approaching extinction due to excessive poaching.

4.| The. Capybara is the world's largest rodent. When they're fully grown, they are 4 ft. in length and weigh about 140 pounds, which is the same size as a child, or a petite person. They can be found in countries like South America, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, and Colombia.
