So my favorite of all my one-shots of all time that I have written was my story, 'Giving You Away.' I had never worked so hard on a single one shot before and I was so impressed with myself and the story. I didn't feel like I had wrote it at all. It also is your all's favorite story as well. It has one of the highest comments and votes out of all the stories. Sooo, I've been working on creating a sequel so to say.

Sooooo, this is the one shot 'Giving You Away,' rewritten from Rose's point of view!

I hope you enjoy it!

She paced back and forth, her high heals clicked on the tile floor. Rose Tyler felt like she was going to throw up. It was her wedding day, she felt like she should be happy and excited, not sick. Rose didn't have a fever or a stomach bug, but a bad case of a broken heart.

It had been several years since she had been left on a beach with her soon to be husband, and years before that since she had been left on a beach alone. The heartache had dulled overtime, It had come back, the pain. She hadn't thought like this in awhile but over the past couple of weeks, the Doctor slowly inched his way back into her mind. But Rose did, she loved her Doctor, John, but she couldn't get over the Doctor.

The Doctor that had left her on the beach both times, the Doctor who could say the things John told her every night, the Doctor who took her on adventures and showed her she was worth something.

They were the same man, but at the same time different. John was so quirky, Rose adored it. He'd random spout things sarcastically or an occasional 'Watch it, space girl!' It was the little things. The Doctor on the other hand, while he was quirky, he could get serious. He understood the seriousness of life, and he held a lot of regret. She wouldn't changed either one of their qualities, not for anything.

But, here she was on her wedding day, remembering her first love.

"Rose?" a voice called out. Jackie smiled as she walked in, "What's wrong?" She rushed over to the bride's side.

Rose sat down and buried her face in her hands. She tried not to cry, but the tears spilled out regardless. "Oh dear, your makeup!"

Rose couldn't help but laugh, her mother of course would be worried about her make up. "Is it John? Did he do something?"

"No, it's not John, it's the Doctor." Jackie sat up a little straighter, it had been a while since she had mentioned him, the wedding had consumed all of her thoughts.

"Rose," Jackie whispered tenderly, she held her daughters hand and gave it a squeeze. "You don't have to stop loving him, you never will stop loving him. I think sometimes you forget that just a couple years ago I was in the same boat as you."

Rose had forgotten, her father, the Pete from her world had died when Rose was a baby. Jackie had been left to care for her all on her own.

And Pete, the Pete in this world, his wife Jackie had been killed by the Cybermen.

Pete was the same as her old Pete.
Jackie was the same as his Jackie.
But they were not the same.

"I will never stop loving your father. I miss your father more than you understand, well actually you probably understand a lot now." She tucked a piece of hair behind Rose's ear. "But I love Pete, I love him, I don't know what I would do without him. I love him than I ever thought I could."

"And you love John." Jackie smiled, Rose hadn't even realized it but she had started crying. "Now go out there, and marry that man."

Rose laughed slightly to herself. Jackie helped her fix her makeup right when Tony ran in. "Are we ready?" He giggled. Rose adored Tony, and she had always wanted a little brother.

"Would you do me the honor of walking me to the isle?"

"Of course, m'lady." Tony said, offering his arm to her.

Before she knew it, Rose was being whisked away to her wedding. She pretended that her mom had fixed all of her doubts, every fear, she pretended it was gone for her family.

Music played softly in the church almost being drowned out by the people talking. Her heart beat out of her chest and she tried to breathe. Pete pulled her back away from the door as her mom and Tony walked down the isle.

"Don't worry," he whispered in her ears. "I know I don't deserve it, but I'm so proud I get to walk you down the isle." Pete looped his arm through Rose's and started to the door.

The doors opened and her heart stopped.

Rose looked up from underneath her eye lashes at the love of her life, he took her breath away. Her Doctor stood at the altar beaming at her, he had let his beard grow out enough just to have a scruff, just the way she liked it.

She couldn't keep the smile off her face, this was it. Rose's heart beat in sync with her footsteps as the music swirled around her. Vaguely she realized that all these people were watching her, but she didn't care. She would have been content with just her, the Doctor, and the preacher. And frankly thats all she saw.

Pete gave her away, taking Rose's hand out of his own and putting in it the Doctor's hand. She smiled at him, hoping that he realized just how thankful she was for him.

"Please be seated," the pastor said. He began to talk about marriage and unity when the Doctor started to creep back into her mind.

Rose looked at her Doctor, John, then smiled. Rose Tyler realized something, something she would never forget.

She had her time with the Doctor, and it was over. She couldn't keep dwelling on that because he wasn't coming back. It was time to cry about it, it was time to smile because it happened. Rose would never forget all the memories she had with the Doctor, but now she was going to make new memories, with the man she loved.

She would grow old with him.

She would be happy with him.

And she would love him.

"I, Rose Tyler," she started. "take you, John Smith,"

These were her vows, for a beginning with John...

"To be my lawfully wedded husband."

and for an ending with the Doctor.

"To have and to hold from this day forward,"

She loved them both, she would never stop loving them both...

"For better, or for worse,"

It wasn't a choice...

"In sickness and in health,"

There never was a choice..

"To Love, and to cherish,"

because he was standing right in front of her.

"Until death,"

and he was always would be.

"Do us part. This is my solemn vow."

It was the same man, always.
