Ada

Legolas's Point of View

My world has now changed.

"Ada! Ada! Wake up!" she called shaking me. I open my eyes a little and she her little pretty face. To an man she looks about 2 years old but now that her elf growth is normal now she's only 20 years of age.

"What is it Leling?" I ask her while getting up. Then she jumps on my lap giggling

"Its morning father" she said and I smiled and held her cheeks

"So it is my darling" I tell her and kiss her forehead and she huffs. I get up and she goes to the river and takes a bucket. Sworen flies next to her and catches a fish eating it whole and she splashes him with water

"Now that's no way to behave Aria!" he says as he flutters his wings and I smile looking how she laughs at him then smiles at me as I load our horse. 20 years already, it went by fast but they were wonderful. I took her up north where I met Eragon and stayed with him for maybe 10 years then traveled the forest near Riverdale till now.

"Aria time to go" I told her and she ran with the bucket and handed it to me.

"Are we really going home Ada?" she asked as I picked her up and put her on the horse

'Yes as I promised your grandfather" I told her and she looked curious at me

"How come we left home Ada?" She asked as I galuped the horse out into the forest onto the path home.

"Well we were sent on a mission Leling" I tell her. I know she is still to young to understand what had happened those years ago.

"Oh I see"she says and I sigh in relief

Thank goodness she doesn't ask so many questions

After some time past we rested for a while and I sat against a tree watching her play with a butterfly in the field. I smiled as she laughed and Sworen stood next to me watching too

"Is it wise to go back my lord? Shouldn't we wait" he asked and then she looked at me smiling

"No, I made a promise to return. Besides it's time for the both of us to carry out our responsibility for our Kingdom" I tell him and he nods

"Strange isn't it?" he asks and I look at him

"What?" I ask and he makes a soft sigh

"Sometimes I forget that this was the same girl that stopped a war and united elves, dwarfs and men to defect evil. It was her voice that broke the curse on Thorin and Thunduil, she made them see past the riches of that mountain. She is a legend" He says and I smirk

Yes we have heard a tale or two about the legend of Aria. She was swift and her heart was filled with nothing but love and loyalty to her family and her people. She never lost faith in anyone that she trusted and even when she found out she was a princess she stayed the same, followed only her heart and the will to bring peace.

"Yes well a legend or not she is still my daughter and I intend to never lose her that way or any way again no matter how great they made her sound" I tell him and he shes her picking up a white flower and picking at the petals

"Every one will know who she is and look at her in fascination and she will not know why not yet at least. What a burden for such a small girl I only hope that she will accept herself as she was not just the greatness that she did but for the good heart she has" he says and I nod

"Lets not worry about that now we have much time until the truth will be given to her. Let her be free from the truth and grow beautiful as she did before" I told him and she ran to me and I got up and picked her up then she laughed.
