Knowledge; wisdom; kindness; beauty.
"Kindness is important," you say.
I'm kind to you," I respond.
"Forever, or just for today?" you ask in an accusing tone.
"That's for tomorrow to decide."
"No, it's for you to decide," you contradict.
And I don't know if I can
Don't speak; don't speak.
And it is truly up to tomorrow
Because in a few minutes
This pain will dull to gray
And I won't feel this like I do now
And my mind will not be clear
But I say to you right now
That I will do my best by you
And I will not shed a tear
Gosh, I will not shed a single tear
Because life is going great
I can't complain
But this, this pain
This inspiration
It's what I've awaited
And I hope that
It will not disappear
But that is for tomorrow to decide
And I will do my best by you today
