Chapter 8

Beyoncé's POV
I heard the door slam and I knew it was Jay, I pulled Kayla off my chest gently and tucked her in before I went downstairs, Jay was on the sofa with his head in his hands

"Hey" I said not knowing what to say

"Hey" he said back, his voice cracked a bit indicating he was crying, I walked over to him and pulled his head up

"What did you do?" I asked

"Just know I beat his ass and as for her I told her never to talk to me again" he said as tears rolled down his cheeks, I held each side of his face and wiped his tears away with my thumbs

"I mean how could they do this to their own daughter, why would they fucking beat her, she's so innocent and beautiful I don't get it Bey, I don't get how I didn't realise, this is all my fault Bey, ALL MY FAULT!!!!! He yelled I pulled him into a hug as he cried in my chest

"Hey, it's not your fault, it's only her parents fault okay? Don't blame your self" I said rubbing his head

"But you don't understand, Kay is like my daughter that I've never had, I'm meant to spot everything, I'm meant to protect her Bey!" He cried

"I know, I know but you cant protect her from everything, but now she's here you can, okay?" I said as I pulled his head up and made him look at me

"Okay" he said hugging my waist

"Come on, it's late" I said grabbing his hand and pulling him upstairs, we got to door

"Night Jay" I said smiling

"Bey, can I sleep with you and Kay please?" He asked looking at me

"Sure, come in"

He walked in and I got in bed next to Kayla and she moved back onto my chest as I ran my fingers through her hair.

Jay's POV
"Your gonna be a great mother" I said, She blushed

"I hope so, guess what Kay said to me today" she said looking at me

"What?"

"She said that I'm more like her mom than her real mom" she said I smiled

"I agree with her, your great with her" I said as she smiled at me and looked down at Kay

I got in the bed next to her and Kay, I felt like we were a family, but I don't even know what me and Bey are

"Comfy Mr Carter?" She's asked looking down, I didn't realise I wrapped my arm around her waist

"Sorry" I said pulling my arm away, she put it back

"No, I like it" she said smiling at me and looking me in the eyes, I smiled back

"Night Bey" I said as I kissed her cheek

"Night Jay" she said back snuggling into me with Kay on top of her.

Next Day - Beyoncé's POV
I woke up with Kayla in between me and Jay, I smiled as I kissed Kayla's cheek and stared at how beautiful she was, he eyes slowly opened as she saw me

"Morning Princess" i said to her while caressing her cheek

"Morming BB" she said back, she got out of the covers and sat in my lap and hugged my neck, I hugged her back
