So you should write the whole book first before you post it? And you shouldn't post one chapter at a time with the next chapter not done?~~ @Just-Keep-Going
Throughout the story Expiration Date, you update each chapter as it is finished rather than finishing the whole thing then uploading it. Does the method help to create suspense and excitement?~~ @Artlife88
There's really no right or wrong answer. It all depends on you as a writer. It would be best to have the story done so you can have regular updates. But what's important is updating regularly. That's what creates suspense. So if you have the time to write a chapter between the times you update then that's great.
The nice thing about writing the story as you're posting, is you can see what readers think about it and can find out what they want to see.
To build suspense and excitement, I am completely for the idea of serialization. It helps readers find your story better. Each update grows your readership.
Thanks for the questions!
