I had a plan to work on a story with a few friends about a year ago. We never actually finished the story because we were either arguing violently or rolling around on the floor laughing at our stupid ideas we thought could work. Do you like to write in a group, or is there too many problems with other people?~~@Runlittlehorse89
I've never written in a group before, but I will be. For my Composition class I have to write a play with four other students. So I'll be seeing how it goes.
I'd like to give writing with others a try. But I can see a lot of potential problems. Groups don't work well without order.
For my group we will have a group leader, two typists, and someone who writes down our ideas. The leader is in charge of contacting everyone and the typists type out the play.
When we meet we'll have a prompt to help us start coming up with ideas and then we'll start brainstorming and discussing.
Having an outline for the play will be key here.
Problems that could occur are figuring out who has the best idea for the story, cutting parts out, and communication. And that's just three things.
I'm interested to see what happens.
