Eternal Flame

Can you still remember when we were under the moonlight?

When the breeze was cold as ice

When the stars twinkle like the flickering light

And in the middle of our figures, there lies a work of art

I can see your pretty face reflected by the blaze of the fire

Your eyes glistening due to the playful little flames

The sound of cracking wood licked ruthlessly by the fire

As your hand makes its way to my hand

I refused to feel the coziness given by your hand

I slowly walked and waved goodbye

Tears were both on our eyes

I hated to do this but this is the least I can try

It's hard to leave someone who means a lot overtime

So enjoy every moment like it's not going to happen next time

And now that I'm regretting what I did that night

Thank God, I woke up

No more dreams, no more lies.

Just the bittersweet feeling of life.
