If your child points at me in a picture of us
And asks who sits beside his dad,
Tell him that I'm a friend
And don't hesitate to tell my name.
Because I know later,
He'll utter:
"I look like her, is that mom?"
Then you'll just smile as you remember your moments when his mom was still here.
