German sat there, in silent then he gently took a hold of her hand...
- You have to wake up... - he said - Your son is waiting for you... Atleast you have someone to go home to... While I don't... Not anymore...
He then kissed her hand.
He didn't know why, but he felt so sad for someone he didn't even know.
- Wake up... Please...
After this German barely worked, but went to the hospital to see Angie daily and soon she woke up from the coma as well which made him really happy.
While she was getting better German didn't really left her side at all...
- How're you feeling? - he asked once when he was there again, seeing Angie sitting in the bed now, having some food to eat - You look better day by day... - he added with a smile.
- I am feeling better! - she said, slightly cheerfully.
- That's good - he smiled as he sat to the side of the bed - I'm glad... Really...
She blushed slightly.
- Thank you... For coming here to... See me... - she said - I'm really grateful...
- It was my fault.... That what happened to you...
- It's not... I wanted to speak... So I guess I deserved it - she mumbled.
- That's not true! - he snapped - I uh...
- Did you find anything more? - she asked - Or did you even see what I gave you?
- It's still in the envelope... I couldn't look at it since you have been here...
- Really?
- Yes...
- You really were worried about me... Why?
- I can't explain... I just didn't feel comfortable... To do anything... Because... I wanted to see you... Get better...
She smiled.
For the first time in a while she felt truly happy.
Someone cared about her.
----- TIME SKIP -----
Another few weeks later they let Angie out of the hospital and in the meantime German made sure she won't get hurt anymore.
The day when she actually got out of the hospital German took her to his house to have a dinner which he already promised to her weeks ago.
- You have a lovely house here - she smiled when they walked in.
- Thank you - he replied - It has been way too silent... So I'm glad you agreed to come over...
- Of course - she giggled - You know... I've been having a crush on you so... I wouldn't want to say no at all...
- Yeah... - he smiled.
He found her really cute, but he didn't admit it just yet.
Instead they "just" had a lovely dinner together...
