in quiet we exist
"what's happened?" Some may ask
someone looking from outside in
it just so happens we're fine this way
comfy in each other's company
no need to impress
no need to be needy
even if there's little exchange day by day
I believe weeks to months could go by
we'd pick up where we left off
even if it's a brief "Hi" then "Bye"
