Chapter 12

Lacey's POV

I don't wanna see my mom but I guess I have to I guess I should get up
I got out of bed and put on black leggings and a cream shirt that says Cameron Dallas on the front and walked down the stairs "hey La- Woah woah what's up with your hair" Matt asked he was taking me today to see my mom "you have to put it up for Me" I said and handed him my brush, a hair tie, and a black bow he put my hair in a high pony tail and added the bow "Cam made you eggs he had a meeting that why I'm here so early" he said "I figured" I responded and walked to the kitchen and ate my eggs
"Lacey come on we have to go" Matt yelled "coming" I responded and ran to the living room he grabbed my hand "I'm scared" I told him looking up "I know it's gonna be ok I'm gonna be right there and I promise I won't let her do anything to you" Matt said as he opened the car door I jumped in then he went to his side he started the car and we drove to my moms house he pulled into the drive way and I started hyperventilating "deep breaths Lacey deep breaths" Matt said I took a few deep breaths and got out of the car he picked me up and we knocked on the door my mom answered "hey gu- oh I forgot you were coming" My mom said "who did you think we were?" Matt asked "oh just a few friends" she answered "ok well we can leave and come back another time if you want" Matt offered "no no it's fine" she said and stepped out of the way for us to walk in we walked to the couch him still holding my hand "gosh are you gonna hold her hand the entire time" she asked as we sat down he let go and I sat in his lap i saw Matt press record on voice memos I don't why though "oh my god Lacey I'm your mom this is just one of your brothers friends Cameron probably forced him to come" she said "excuse me but I love her way more then you do" Matt said "yeah you think I love her why would I hit someone I love this little arrangement is crap I was supposed to get my little punching dummy back for myself not to be monitored by an 18 year old boy" She practically screamed after about half of that I started crying "ok great job look what you did she is a beautiful little girl and she is lucky to have a brother like Cameron and to be out of reach from someone like you" Matt screamed back he picked me up and stormed outside only to find his tires slashed "great" he mumbled he did something on his phone then put it on his ear just loud enough so I could hear it "hey Nash?" Matt asked into the phone "it's Hayes what's up" Hayes asked "I need you guys to come pick us up from Lacey's moms her mom just wanted to get her to abuse her then when we walked outside my tires were slashed so now we are walking to the quality Mart on Main Street I'm carrying her and she is all upset" he explained into the phone "yeah ok tell her I'm sorry and we are on our way" Hayes said "will do bye bud" Matt said and hung up
