It was the weekend after the spar, excitement slowly dying down, teams trying and failing at Wombo Combos and school work overflowing. Yes, school work, this is still an academy after all. It was currently Naruto and team RWBY's Vale weekend and Naruto was helping them out with stuff.

First he was with Ruby, looking for sweets to give to team KAFV as congratulations. He cracked jokes and laughed all throughout the time at Ruby's expense. He suggested that Ruby make them herself, then remembered the girl didn't have much skill at cooking. Instead he just told her to go with chocolate chip cookies, making Ruby close her eyes and stroke an imaginary beard sagely as she slowly nodded, "You're opinion is greatly appreciated. There's a reason the classics are still around."

After that he was dragged away by Blake to help her shop for books. The two were looking looking around Tuskon's book trade, Naruto checking out comics while Blake was looking through the shelves.

"You know, I brought you here because I thought you'd help me pick something." Blake said quietly.

"What's wrong? Finish your porn book early?" Naruto asked, causing Blake to blush and glare. "Oh relax." Naruto said as he walked around to certain shelves and grabbed a few books and handed them to Blake.

"The first is the first book of a series called 'the Soulkeepers'. A three book series, it has a more modern and action packed view on religion while also adding romance and hardships to the equation. The second book is based off of a video game called 'Halo'. The book is called 'Ghosts of Onyx' and though it's based in a video game universe, it's damn near impeccable as a standalone book. The third book I gave you is on modern Greek Mythology, 'The Lightning Thief' the first of the 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' series. A great read, good character development and a very good plot. The last book I gave you is, 'To Kill a Mockingbird'. A story from the point of view of a child about racial discrimination. I most definitely recommend. Atticus Finch is a certified genius." Naruto explained.

Blake stood there absolutely flabbergasted. She looked at the books in her hand, all being over a hundred pages, and back at Naruto.

"What's wrong?" Naruto asked, seeing the look she was giving.

"I knew you were a tactical genius...but to tell the truth I didn't think you'd be smart enough to give an educated critique on anything over 40 pages." Blake said seeing Naruto in a new light.

"Oh screw you Blake. I read!" He said comically pouting as he went back to the comic section. Blake giggled and read the first few pages of the first book and found herself entranced by it. If the rest were good enough for Naruto to suggest alongside this, she'd give them a try.  As she bought them, Yang ran in and grabbed Naruto, dragging him out, Naruto mocking a salute as a goodbye.

Naruto and Yang finally stopped in front of a fighting gym.

"So. What are we doing here?" Naruto asked.

"I need to train for my rematch with Sam someday! You're the only one who can take my hits, trust me I tried." Yang responded, gesturing to the fighters through the window, nearly all having black eyes, bruises and swollen faces.

"Yang... It's your day off... And you want to train." Naruto asked, giving her a deadpan stare.

"What else am I supposed to do? Already went clothes shopping, pranked a few losers and Junior's club hasn't been fully repaired. I feel bad attacking a already broken place." Yang said, causing Naruto to stare at her with a deadpan stare again.

"You have a problem with attacking it before it's repaired...but you have no problem whatsoever that it was you who was the reason it had to be repaired." Naruto pointed out.
