Ray: Okay, so at that night, you are going to walk in as KD, then you'll--
Henry: Why'd you stop?
Ray: Shh. I think Char is coming. Act natural.
Henry: Okay.
He runs to the couch and quickly sits down, just before the elevator doors open.
Charlotte: Hey Henry, sup Ray.
Ray & Henry: Heeeyyy.
Charlotte: (What's up with those two?) Umm, so what are you guys up to?
Ray & Henry: Uhhhh...
Charlotte: (Yup, something is definitely up.)
Henry: We were just about to play... A game of Mahjong.
Ray: Yeah, that sounds right.
Henry: (Saved it.)
Charlotte: Well, okay then. I just wanted to know if you're still gonna come to the dance Friday. (I really hope Hen can make it. It won't feel the same without him.)
Henry: I don't know Charlotte, I just--
Char: Come on Henry!
Charlotte walks closer to Henry and holds his hand.
Charlotte: The dance won't feel the same without you.
Henry: (Whoa, I never really noticed...how beautiful Char's eyes are. The way the reflect under the light. And her hand is so warm, so comforting. I hope she never lets go. Whoa, where'd that come from?) About the dance, I-- uhh... (Quit babbling like an idiot and say something!) Yeah, I'll be there. I promise.
Charlotte: Thanks Henry. Well, I better go get my dress ready. See you guys later!
Charlotte walks to the elevator and leaves.
Ray: Dude, what was that?
Henry: What was what?
Ray: You know. *mocking Henry* Oh, about the dance, I-- uhh...
Henry: So I stuttered alittle. No big deal.
Ray: Mmmhmm.
--Friday Night's Dance--
Charlotte was in her room, trying on a new dress she bought. Then, she got a text, from Jasper.
Jasper: Her char, my mom and I are waiting outside.
Charlotte got her keys, phone, and her purse together to head outside. Then, Brandon texted her.
Brandon: Hey beautiful. Just wanted to say I'll be waiting 4 u @ the dance. This will b a nite you'll nvr 4get.
She takes her phone and leaves the house. Jasper's mom drives them to Henry's house, to pick him up.
*knock, knock, knock*
Piper: COME IN!!
Jasper: Can't talk, gotta pee.
Jasper runs to the bathroom. The Charlotte enters after him.
Charlotte: Hey Pipes. Is Henry ready?
Piper: Almost, he's upstairs.
Charlotte: Thanks.
Piper: I think I'm gonna spend the night watching the Walking Orange.
Charlotte: Have fun!
Piper: HENRY! CHARLOTTE'S WAITING!
Henry; I'm almost done!
Piper: See you later!
