Natalie's POV

Natty! I need your help! I heard Nathan yell though the mindlink making me almost jump

I'm in class idiot! I replied and it got silent

Knock! Knock!

"I apologize for interrupting, but may Natalie be excuse for a few minutes?", my idiot brother asked as his head peeked into the class

"Fine, but only for a few minutes Mr. Beckham", my teacher sighed and I groaned getting up. As I walked pass Dante, he gave me a smile and I growled,

"Bitch!". Once out of the classroom, Nathan grabbed my arm and dragged me over to the janitor's closet

"What do you want Nathan?", I asked taking my arm back and he took a deep breath

"Did you find your mate today?", he asked and I froze "I'll take that as a yes then.... Mines is James...."

"Wait, you mean James Hall?", I asked and he looked away in silence "the James that is co captain of the swim team?"

"Yes"

"Hmmm, not bad", I commented and he glared at me "what?!"

"He's a guy and a human!", he explained and I shrugged

"And I still don't see the problem..."

"Easy for you to say, you have a mate of the opposite sex", he sighed and I looked down "what is it?"

"My mate is Dante, you know the kid I met at the bookstore", I replied and he nodded "he's one of the vampires that transferred to this school"

"Oh shit!", he whispered and I nodded "damn"

"Yup", I sighed looking back up "so I have a vampire and you have a human.... What're you gonna do?"

"We'll finish this when we get home"

"Homework then Mortal Kombat?", I asked and he smiled

"You know me so well", he replied and we both chuckled.

Later that dayyyyyyyy........

Nathan and I got home to an empty house. Dad must be working.... We went into the kitchen, got some snacks and made our way to the living room. First we did homework and talked a little about school, then we turned on the PlayStation and started playing mortal kombat

"Get over here!", I mimicked Scorpio as he pulled Nathan's character, Raiden

"Finish em!"

"Yo, stop cheating!", he whined and I laughed as I used Scorpio's fatality on him "shit!"

"It's not cheating if you suck", I snickered and I laid back on the couch "so my little brother what shall we do about your mate?"

"I hope you know I'm older, by like 3 minutes", he smirked and I rolled my eyes

"Yes I know, you remind me every chance you get", I groaned and he smiled "now answer the same question"

"How the hell should I know!", he replied throwing up his hands and sighed "I never thought I would be in situation....."

"I was hoping you'd say that, so I can say my idea", I chimed then cleared my throat "just hang out with him and see what kind of guy he is, maybe you'll fall for him". There was silence as he took the plan into consideration

"What happens if I don't fall for him?", he asked, voice laced with some disappointment and I smiled

"We both know you'll fall for him, one way or another Nat", I chuckled and he blushed "gasp! You're blushing!"

"Shut up!", he slightly growled and I laughed "what about you sis? You and your vamp"

"He has a girlfriend..", I shrugged and he gave me the really look

"Just make the idiot jealous, he hasn't rejected you so that means he wants you", he commented and held in my blush "make him jealous and he'll come around". So this is plan A.... Let's begin...
