I slowly opened my eyes to be dazzled by the sunlight, I stretched my arms over my head before getting up and walking towards my bathroom to take a quick shower.

After I was done with the shower and getting dressed (light blue skinny jeans, a red crop top and sandals) I grabbed my phone from the nightstand to see I had a new message on messenger, I smiled widely when I saw who the message was from

Lauren: heya

Y/N/N: hey

Lauren: so I was just wondering where do you wanna meet?

Y/N/N: we cn meet at the food court (:

Lauren: okay ☺❤ can't wait to meet you!

Y/N/N: me too.

Lauren: cya soon❤

Y/N/N: okay ❤

I slipped my phone into my pocket before heading downstairs and to my car.

On the drive to the mall, I couldn't stop thinking about Lauren, like what does she look like? Is she actually sweet in person? What if she doesn't like me? What if she thinks I'm not pretty or anything? - all these thoughts kept repeating themselves in my head, I just pushed them to the back.

30 minutes later...

I parked my car in one of the empty parking spaces. - aright y/n you can do this!

I undid my seat belt before stepping out of my car. I headed into the mall when I saw the most popular girl at Mt school, Amber Cesar standing by the fountain - that's just fuckin great! Calm down y/n just go to the food court and try to find Lauren My Subconscious told me

I walked towards the food court and waited to see if I could try and see if I could spot someone who looks like a Lauren.. if that makes sense..

9 hours later..

I still haven't found Lauren yet.. maybe she just ditched me.. eh I'm use to it!

I headed towards the exit and to the parking lot - I can't believe I even thought that someone had feelings for me! I'm so naive.

I hoped into my car and soon the tears ran down my cheek - I'm so stupid!

I finally arrived home and quickly ran upstairs, I honestly didn't want to deal with anyone right now.

I let myself fall onto my bed and cried myself to sleep.

Lauren: hey y/n I know your probably upset with me because I didn't show up at the mall yesterday and I'm really sorry about that babe, I was gonna show up but than something came up! I'm really sorry.
