AI don't usually celebrate these but my birthday is today. Or at least I think it is. I haven't been able to keep track of days. But I know it is this month. So happy birthday to me I guess. I don't usually have the time to notice or even pay attention to things like birthdays but since I'm not exactly going to be doing much I had some time to notice. What a great birthday present though, I got a free one way trip to the middle of nowhere and a fight with a zombified snake. I don't know how my birthday could've been better... Oh ya, if none of that had actually happened. I don't like celebrating birthdays anyway, it just means I'm one step closer to termination. Since AI only have 7 years to live I do not get very long and I'm almost there. I have a few more years in me and that's about it. I don't really like to think about that, it just distracts me, and I do not have time for that. I shouldn't really be thinking about it now even but I feel this is a rare time where distraction is the best thing for me. I do miss the times when I didn't have time to relax though, I know it sounds odd but being in battle was calming for me. It was a mental challenge for me. A way to test my abilities and keep me working at my best. When I didn't have time to unwind I would always have to be my very best at all times. But now that I don't have much to do I start to work at a slower pace. I guess I'm kinda glad the Gravemind showed up... Without him I probably would've gone insane with boredom. So I guess one good thing came out of him. Maybe he wasn't the worst birthday present in the world. If I look at the big picture without him I would've spent the past year or so doing absolutely nothing. AI are built to go through some sort of challenge on a daily basis. It keeps them motivated and ready to work immediately if they have too. Even if there is nothing to do that day I usually study earlier battles or something to keep my brain working. So thank you Gravemind, for not being as bad a birthday present as I thought you were surprisingly.
