Asteroid Field

I know I say this a lot but I can't believe it. I'm almost at Requiem. I'll be there in around half a year. I'm just surprised I made it. Even if I'm not there yet it's still amazing I got this far. But I don't have time for celebrating. There is still work to do if I plan on making it all the way there. I've got to fire a couple missiles. An asteroid field seems to be blocking my path. But at the same time I need them for when I arrive at Requiem. So I need to manage them. I already did an inventory check. I have only 10 missiles remaining. Based off previous battle records it will only take 3 missiles to take down one covenant cruiser. Which means I have 7 to take out the asteroids. I need to do this now. Before they destroy the little bit of the ship I actually have left. The asteroid field is quite big so I can't destroy them all with the missiles I have. But I think I know just the way to clear them. I can fire all the missiles at the same time at 7 different locations making and L shape around the bottom right corner of the cluster the blast should be just enough to send them flying out of our way. Then we can just float right on through. So I have to turn the power back on to load up the missiles and then firing them should be easy. Ok, that's all of them. Firing now, and there they go. Did it work? I hope so. They seem to be floating off. But not fast enough. That's not good. I'm going to hit at least a few. Sealing off all rooms in the front of the ship. Impact is imminent. 5...4...3...2...1  CRASH. Ok we survived. That was close. Looks like the front of the ship is compromised. The whole thing exploded. I can see the junk floating out of there now. The flames will put themselves out soon enough. Got a little lucky there if you ask me. Could've been much, much worse. Now I can move on since yet another problem is out of the way. That's all my time here has been. Solve this solve that. At least I can say I was never bored.
