Apparently Steve decided they should destroy the hydra base and that's what he did. He found the self destruct button for the base and pushed it with out warning the others.
"Hurry!" Steve yelled ruling onto the plane.
"What did you do?" Asked Annie as she thought of her sister still inside the base.
"We needed to destroy the base and what they were working on." Coulson said taking Steve's side which was no surprise.
"You killed so many people." Tony said with an characteristic amount of compassion.
"One of us could have still been inside." Clint said speaking up. "You should have told us first."
The argument went on until they got back to S.H.I.E.L.D HQ. There everyone went there separate ways. Thor went back to Asgard, Clint and Natasha went on a new mission, Steve went to visit a friend, and Bruce took Annie home. Life continued on this way until they were needed again.
